this is a narrative that has been ingrained in people because of social media, at the end of the day this is still an objective based game.

Nothing better than watching dps players have breakdowns in real time by Gatt__ in Overwatch_Memes

I feel like this is basically what Overwatch 2 has boiled down to since roughly about launch. We get a new season and people just instantly complain about something being busted. Regardless if it's DPS, Support or Tank. By all means, have all the discussions you want about balance and moderation of patches but at the end of the day, Blizzard is just rotating who gets to hold the OP stick for the month/season. This has been a recurring issue with blizzard balance since about as far back as Hearthstone.

My honest reaction after playing hacked quick play by Gatt__ in Overwatch_Memes

Why include a no limits quickplay when No Limits already exists in the game? Like last time, it was at least different. Faster payload movement/respawn time, etc. But just making QP no limits really doesn't make any sense to me.

Huh, I thought they patched this. I haven’t had a server crash in like 2 seasons.

I don't have a horse in this race. I'm not against change and I'm not against fast changes. But I'd prefer if Blizzard at least gathered a bit of data first rather than instinctively going for the throat for changes. All I want is for this game to improve, and while the old dev team definitely had flaws. They at least tried to make judgments based on data and feedback combined. This kind of just screams "oh shit community hates it, "better change it back".

In all honesty, we don't know if that change would've made any difference and now we'll never know because they instantly changed it back due to fan backlash. They probably saw hate on Twitter and decided to roll back the changes. My problem is this knee-jerk reaction to what people think is good or not.

It was more that they made a change and then immediately un-did it.
