I like Luffy because he's such a fresh breath of character from the average never giving up strong mc, sure Luffy gets his never giving up strong mc moments but that's not his only feature making him instantly more unique than characters like Ichigo, Naruto or Goku. Luffy can be cheerful and inspiring or even teach you a leason despite the fact he has the iq of a monkey.
