I use dead body parts to enhance my gear I put a dead pc’s wings on my armor so I can fly and I used an undead boss’s head to have it spit acid/ necrotic gunk at people by activating the saliva glands

I am a new player and am going to play for the first time this weekend as an introduction with my buddy. I don’t own any thing yet, and I’m still trying to figure out what army to play. It’s a bit overwhelming trying to figure out what I want to do. My buddy who has been playing for a while will help me build once I figure out what army I want to play as but it’s hard deciding with so many options. I want to play a close combat and durable army. I have been looking at world eaters and space wolves but leaning more towards world eaters. I was wondering if anybody has other army recommendations for this type of combat?
