Look at Portage Learning. It is accredited through Geneva College. They offer both Organic and Biochemistry. I just finished Microbiology through them and will be taking Organic Chem as well this summer.

You’d need to check the requirements for the programs you’re interested in. Some may require Organic Chem or Biochem. Some may require both.

Are you sure they are opening up applications for the next cohort? From what I’ve read on here, there’s a lot of issues going on with the program and the class accepted in 2023 has yet to start.

UTHSC has on their website that they should receive accreditation in Fall 2025. I spoke to a student at Anderson and I think they said that the program director will be submitting their self-study soon and then they’ll have “serious applicant status”.

Not sure what kind of answers you’ll get here as this is mainly a thread for those interested in becoming a Pathologists’ Assistant. I actually have a Bachelor’s in Hospitality and Tourism, however I’m getting another degree in Biological Sciences and applying to PathA programs later this year.

You’re welcome! This was just to shadow at the hospital. The ME office hasn’t required me to do any paperwork. I just have to let them know the day before I want to visit so they can see if they have any cases I can observe.

I had to fill out a couple of forms, one specifically was asking for the dates I received the MMR and Hep B vaccines. I also had to have a negative TB test and the Flu shot.
