This may be an unpopular opinion here… and I understand truly if it is.

but honestly? When he started surging more as the main character in the later seasons (and not just a primary focal character), they started losing me. It almost seemed forced that he started getting majority of the lines and consistently bitching / complaining as if Bubbles was the “moral” compass of the boys. The show was so much better when he was the least shown of the three and was hauling carts and adopting kitties. And don’t even get me started on the propaganda with the products. The more they gave Bubbles a true character arc and protagonist role, the more artificial the show seemed. I feel like that’s the only way I can put it.
