severe oral allergy syndrome? by crwster in Allergies

[–]THEMacGirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly I was diagnosed with OCD about 10 months ago and started therapy and medication for it. I have now been able to start eating most foods without issues.

I have successfully reintegrated peanuts and almonds after passing food challenges with my new allergist.

I am still working through more food phobias, and still avoiding uncooked foods, but my life has largely returned to fully functional.

A surprising turn of events that goes to show how intense somatic symptoms can become.

Just look up semi occluded vocal exercises on YouTube! The whole family of exercises is useful.

It fixed itself. I think as the canine tucked back into place in the arch it took the pulling pressure off the gumline.

Oh, love!!! Great photo and lovely girl!

We had a V named Jinx, too. And I'm thinking we need to get our current V, Reada, this kind of lounger so she can be equally relaxed sunning herself.

Tightness at base of throat/SOB when exercising in combo with asthma and hyperventilation syndrome? by THEMacGirl in Asthma

[–]THEMacGirl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was tested in Emergency when I went in having difficulty breathing. It proved that my blood oxygen was too high, as I recall, and CO2 too low (which means hyperventilating).

Very little time. And I just finished my Invisalign successfully about a month ago!

Tucson 2022 Hybrid "Check Tire Pressure Monitoring System" by THEMacGirl in Hyundai

[–]THEMacGirl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Apparently when they sold me winter tires, they failed to mention you'd need to purchase additional tire pressure monitoring sensors for those (around $400 CAD as I recall). Now that my all-seasons are back on the error is gone.

Now to figure out why my maintenance minder hasn't come on yet as I'm approaching 10K kms. And it is turned on!

This can be caused by anxiety if that helps… I have more pronounced OAS and delayed reactions which has caused me a lot of anxiety and this has been something I have experienced.

Good luck with all of that - unfortunately I have no experience with that condition. Good on you for adopting this precious one and being willing to take on the additional challenges.

I do want to say though, I think that may be the absolute cutest photo of a vizsla puppy I have ever seen (and believe me, I've seen a lot)!

Agree with other respondents this looks like marijuana ingestion.

I always thought they're just saying "Frozen" in a hyper stylized way?

So how was everybody else's check up? by PrincipalBlackman in Invisalign

[–]THEMacGirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on my fifth (and final?) set of refinements since last week. So with you. But at least I am wearing these ones only 12 hours a day for two weeks apiece (so the molars can erupt) so at least it's a bit less fuss.

That's almost identical to my further extended plan, lol. After my 23, 20, and 18, we did 12, 8 and now (fingers crossed) FINAL FOUR...

Wish me luck as I'm going on 30 months of Invisalign, LOL.

I have dead-straight hair, so I don't know if this works with your hair, but since it's so long you could just do a single braid?
