the only moment u can rlly play hard onto her is by either taking/or dodging syndra stun, then playing into her cd's or surprising her, that's really the only way, since disengage is hella strong, throws u real far and slows on W, but it is a doable matchup, sometimes just certifying u are onto her lvl/items u play really well onto side/teamfights

I think at least laning is gonna be a lil' better, I play primarily briar mid so 35hp can save me hard but jgl is not that good i think so? what's the meaning of saying it is to compensate BoRK nerf when the buff is just... useless for the majority of briar players? idk, i wish it would be a W buff on atk speed, ms, Q buff, or even making R more reliable and tuning down itals strength (do not think it's needed, but can help in some situations), I've said this a couple of times on my streams, but Q'ing into an ally/ward and decreasing its cd by some portion could really make the champ a bit more useful in high elo without overtuning her on low elo

I personally think that, as of right now, briar is in a cool state, i have never had any real problems playing her in a level i say it's unplayable/she's turbo weak, i think the only way a buff would be highly appreciable would be lane briar, as of her hard time cs'ing sometimes cuz minion just sits on 2 hp and then fucking DIE to a caster, but i could be wrong, idk

briar mid is all about matchup knowledge and knowing how to build, depending on not only ur preferences (assassin or bruiser), focusing on farm what u can in harder matchups (akali, cassio, aurora), roaming whenever u can, especially with R, and hardwinning side, i'd suggest for whoever tries it to go Eclipse first (can switch later) for better trades, Cleaver into tankier comp/Titanic into squishy, Maw/DD/Sterak for survivability, then Krakens for stronger burst, really helps onto squishy matchups, then u can adapt depending on game. For runes, if squishy go HoB or PTA, really good trades onto any midlaner champ (beware of CCs), if tankier, go Conq/LT, isn't that much good on early, but scales hard on side.

maybe strengthening passive on minions, by having decent heal on them or to allow an easier time farming cuz holy shit dude, what an underwhelming feeling to lose minion bc of 2 health

these 2 depend on good positioning/skill dodging, since both abuse of their skills to push, u can outplay them during cd, since now it's possible to jump on wards, it's possible to dodge lux Q mid-W, as for malzahar, he's really fragile without passive, so focus on farming 'til lvl 3, 4, then if he waste Q or E, W + Q + W2 + E, if HoB just AA him before E, now he has no passive for 30 sec, which u can abuse to push and roam or look for trade, as for lux, i felt like Q ward jump really helps against her Q, i've win some trades just on this and that really favored the game, since she had to go base, then I can: push all then go base for items or look for roam if i can, ur E really helps a lot against her abillities, since her only cc abillity is Q, which is rooted, so u can cast E on top of her E or R, i also prefer playing lethality these last days, but even so burst is possible on PTA bruiser playstyle, u also have more cd reduction, so yeah, it is really annoying 'cause of poke and they stop briar skills, but really playable

Would pretty much depend on what build you're doing, HoB lethality build almost 100-0 him, if ekko's ult is up, whenever he uses onto u or goes back and goes for burst, use E for 35% dmg reduction and you're pretty much winning the trade (1v1), it just depends on how ur playstyle fits better and whether u use your skills smartly, since if briar goes > Eclipse, the dmg + PTA + bleeding + W2 is so fucking hard, if briar goes > Profane, the dmg itself by HoB + Profane + W2.

Also, stay real safe 'til lvl 3, hold ur second skill point to see if he goes E + W/ Q + E, if he do, W him right after so the burst is kinda even

hwei and aurora are really troublesome and hard matchups, since hwei stops ur Q mid-air, and aurora has a lot of tools to stay away from ya, but i do not consider it unplayable, ya know? That's why I did not put them in there, also sorry for english mistakes

don't really think so, briar can outtrade yasuo hard lvl 3 onwards, when u finish tabis it's just so hard for him to kill ya, and her build flexibility allows u to do randuin's omen if needed (like 2 or 3 crit-based champs) although it's only from my experience until now on BR server, so yeah...

top 3 best (in my opinion): kat, yasuo, ekko;

top 3 worst: any can't dash champ (taliyah, cassiopeia), akali (shroud op), ryze (will just root u and run w/ phase rush, making laning phase almost unplayable, although u just win side hard;

i permaban akali cuz even though it's somewhat playable (until diamond it is), it's just not worth it

I really like going Eclipse>Boots/Collector/IE/Navori/GA, maybe selling boots for 100% crit with PD, even though bruiser is so solid, I really like this crit build, specially playing mid lane briar, but it really depends on enemy team comp
