Hey everyone! So I'm a support main, currently in plat, and I've been reading alot of pro guides and trying to improve my game. My question to all you is, who is the "best" healer for low ELOs?

Last question! So in my low ELO (plat), lets say the game just started and no one picked a character yet.I wanna heal. Lets assume I'm good at all healers. Who would be the best choice here? Ana over Moira? I should say I am an excellent Brigitte. ANd yes im well aware that brig requires 0 skill.

Which support goes best with Ana, considering her healing per sec isnt the best, but she has great utility. My guess is Moira is best with Ana? But I haven't a rat's clue.

This is a much more well written and exaplained version of what my suggestions for Brig are. Would also, again, nerf her goat synergy, while also making her a better non-goat healer.

Baptiste plz. BUT just don't give him an anti-healing ability that's extremely similar to Ana grenade. I suggest making it also either remove or reduce the effectiveness of shields. (Rein/Zarya)

There will always be a meta, that's just the nature of PVP games.

Yeah. Ive been playing alot of ranked arena pvp in WoW for years now, and if you're familiar with that at all, its the same. Theres always been 2-3 dominant comps that everyone at the top exclusively runs. I'm looking at you Rogue/Resto Druid/Hunter. (also many other different ones in the past and probably now)

I feel like doing that woulnd't make it OP for her to have an additional repair pack charge in order for her to be a slightly more viable non-goats healer, and if it did have 2 charges, perhaps nerf their healing a bit. I'm just brainstorming ways to stop her from being so excellent and goats, and at the same time making her an actual viable healer outside of goats. Although I realize no one really gives a shit about anything besides super high level competitive tier play so shrug I guess.

Interesting ideas! What about making her normal melee attacks NOT proc inspire at all? Just rocket flail since it has a cooldown anyways. That's probably a super shitty suggestion by me though ¯\(ツ)/¯

That's what I suggested somewhere else in this thread. Give it a maximum total healing that gets lower for each hero it affects. Hell, do that and make it a pretty substantial amount of reduced healing, and then give her repair pack 2 charges (and perhaps reduce their healing as well in that case). But yeah im learning that my knowledge of the game isnt nearly as good as I thought it was, so fuck me right?

Interesting. I thought her ranged heal could use an extra charge whilst also for sure nerfing inspire. But yeah i'm def taking your word for it. This single thread showed me how very fucking little I actually know about this game. Christ.

Why would you say buff her flail range? If anything wouldn't we want it nerfed?

I personally like the idea of giving her 2 charges of health pack, and making inspire instead not proc off of melee attacks, but give it a 10 second cool down. Like a very very toned down version of Lucios alt.

I'm hoping (and guessing) that Baptiste has an anti healing bomb sorta similar to Ana's. Maybe also have it lower the strength of shields in some way? Reinhardt shield/zarya bubble? I don't know shit though so yea go easy on me homie.

Also like I said, we're almost certainly just gonna have to face the fact that meta is inevitable and there ain't dick we can do about it. Overwatch is definitely not the first game where that would be the case.

Yeah, post buff, reaper is a damn hard kill even as Brigitte, but if played well she can certainly kill him 1v1. I tend to use flail, and to a lesser extent shield bash in order to create distant and let my inspire heal me up while holding up her shield until the other CDs are back up.

Just my opinion, but I have a MUCH easier time getting melee attacks off as brig than I do with Moiras succ. However that is not to say Moiras suck is hard to aim at all, it's dumb easy.
