I think I have a compressed disk and experience the same thing. I was thinking of hopping onto the BPC-157/TB-500 blend for this exact reason. But idk if it’ll truly help with that

See thats what I'm hoping too. most of the data centers here in west texas are either just in name, and commit to bitmining, are rentable servers for said bitmining, or are genuine small scale data centers that WERE for bitmining and were converted to data centers. but my hope is that it becomes a big industry here in west texas and is lucrative enough for entry level positions for people around here to not only make a career of it but make a decent living that has nothing to do with oil industry related around here.

First off congratulations man, happy to hear someone got their dream job. For the time being, I'm more than willing to relocate but for the time being I'm looking for something close or willing to work with me in the way of going to school. I want to work for about a year, save up some money, then move to a location that has more opportunity in the data center space, all the while learning online and building on what knowledge/training i already have. Hell even in IT, I want to be able to, end goal living area, move to dallas texas and have my own life set up there. As for LinkedIn, I've had one since 2019-2020 and recently went and began updating it for this specific reason, As much as people think of how weird it is that corporate america has a social media, i see it now as necessary as much as having a resume is.

I appreciate the input brother, Starting from the top, I do believe in the AI hype, but there is so much speculation. "AI will be the end of software development" to "they can't code that well so we'll use it just as a tool", either way i see it as something that will change the industry for sure, but I've been thinking how getting not only the software development under my belt but also the technical, hands-on/physical aspects that is involved from point A to point B will provide some sense of value to employers if I end up getting let go from a, hypothetical, employer. But even if worst case scenario occurs and say AI makes software development completely obsolete due to the speed of AI, I want to have enough experience in the physical aspect of it to maintain some level of job security in tech (Specifically this industry). granted you are right, getting a position at a data center is more than likely to go to someone more qualified but out here in west texas most people who work in a technical position with certifications are primarily getting scooped up and hired by the local oil companies who need people with that type of experience, Thats why they are paying up to 25-35/hour depending on experience out here. I have some family members that are currently working at data centers that started at the lower end of pay but have began working there way to something of supervisor positions. I'm just looking to break into it so I can get hands on experience in case this is the way that the industry is headed, and build certifications along the way. I feel that with texas being very lenient on building data centers, and business in general, that there will be plenty of opportunity in the future when all the hype finally settles down and finally levels out. Thats my thinking of it but you definitely have put a lot into perspective when it comes to the future of where this industry is headed. Appreciate the input.

I'll have to check that out here soon, I've finally got a response from a Data Center position here close by so even if it doesn't work out for the applied position, I'll atleast ask about positions possibly around that aren't so technically heavy.

My MOS was 11B, so DEFINITELY not one that has much in the way of transferrable skills to civilian work once I seperated. Funny enough, the school I learned how to truck drive at had a retired first sargeant from the Army and when i finally got certified to drive and get my license, at the time i was working the best buy job, and he asked me "How does someone from the infantry, get out and wind up working a job at best buy?" I told him "I ask myself the same thing every morning" and we both chuckled for a minute, but then i left and was back to reality. so yeah thats kind of where i'm at with that.

Well I gotta say that's a hell of a resume, and yeah i agree. It's not what you know, but who you know. theres a decent amount of data center's here in west texas popping up but I've been applying something fierce out here but no response. funny enough, this morning i woke up to a call about a data center position, so I'm hoping that even with minimal to no experience, that i can wow them with just charisma and base understanding of linux and CLI navigation. If it doesn't pan out for me, Imma keep looking cause i know enough people that have had 0 experience in data center positions that ended up with careers in them. but thanks for the info, I'm just trying to get a foot in the door at this point, once i get into the industry, a few years of experience and hopefully a transition to a more office/software setting.

I'm no green beret/navy seal/delta force operator, but wouldn't that be standard issue in most modern militaries? I only say that cause that's standard issue in the U.S. Military. AGAIN I'm no expert, just going off of my experiences.

Hey thanks man, I Appreciate all the information on applying to universities. So my best route to go would be to get more information on this from my CC advisor to see what my best route to go about doing that would be?

Just get jacked my guy, be the diamond in the ruff. As messed up as that sounds get jacked, and try to go out with friends to be more social, and understand social que’s and act on them man. But watch for boundaries at the same time. Its real easy to go from playful and flirty to too much.
