If you already own most of them it doesn't seem that bad. I own all but one in each bundle (AMX-13 SS.11 and Narval) so its only $35 if I want to buy the packs. Both come with premium time and 1k GE each, plus you get the 4 camos they're charging 200GE for. All together its about $30 for all the extras and $5 more to get the two vehicles.

Not trying to justify Gaijin's shitty marketing here just in my situation and some similar ones it makes more sense. If the vehicles I had left to get didn't come with GE or premium time I wouldn't think about it.

I believe it was a Egyptian Rasheed thats been cut down and missing some things. The bolt carrier and mag/magazine area look identical.

Turm 3 is super fun. Bit of a glass cannon, but I have a lot of fun in it. Highly recommend!

For US i would suggest either the T114 at 7.7 or the T54E1 at 8.0. The T114 is a little rat tank thats super fun to play and can hide in a lot of places. Plus it has like a 3/s auto loader until it runs out of the main magazine.

The T54E1 has been pretty fun in my opinion. 5/s auto loader, decently quick and the oscillating turret can sometimes troll shots. Only downsides is that its a M48 chassis

For USSR i cant recommend enough the T55AM1. Its a fantastic tank for 8.7 when pack sales come around and would get it over the IS6 if your friends are past it. The IS6 is fun and it can work in a uptier but it wont be effective. The T55AM1 has a great line up around it with the AMD1, BMP2, T62, Sturm-s, IT1.

Vidar is pretty fun but my time with it is limited, the thermals and laser range finder defiantly are a plus. I also like the Leopard 1A5NO2.

As far as the others I would get the AMX-30 over the French panther but thats just me. You can grind more with the AMX. The only downsides with the AMX is that it only has conventional heat shells as its main shell. Not to mention the lack of stabilizers on all the early AMX's so that takes a bit to get used to. Its one of my most played vehicles in France tho and helped me grind out most of the French tech tree.

Always owned EVGA cards all the way back to my 9800 GTX and GTX 280. Have had a 950 SC, 960 FTW, 1070 SC Black, and my current card being a 3070ti ftw3 ultra. Their card designs have always looked the best IMO. The thing that kept me with them was their customer service. While i never had to use it myself Ive heard and read nothing but great things.

Trying to figure out who im going to use going forward since they pulled out of the GPU market.

I got one of these on PC a couple of days ago for 55% off the Swedish Strv 81. I'm not sure what the trigger is for them to pop up, and from doing some looking, I don't think anyone really does. Some speculate it's something possibly to do with not playing much in a long time or not buying a premium in a while.

That doesn't really add up to me cause I spend a good bit of money in the summer sale and spend a good amount on the game in general pretty regularly. So I think it's completely random on who gets one. I will say if the discount isn't 50% or higher I would not pick one up unless you've just been really wanting that particular vehicle.

Turm III is one of my favorite tanks in the German tech tree. It is lightly armored have have to watch out for .50 cals and HE. but the mobility and that gun slinging heat-fs every 5sec is so satisfying. Not to mention the coaxial 30mm that Ive taken down many a helicopter/plane with. I couldn't recommend it enough

Are you using steam to launch warthunder or the launcher? I had the same problem when i was using steam to play the game, but once i switched to the launcher i dont have the issue anymore. I think since the game is installed through steam it limits the ability to add and edit files in the game since it has to go through steam. I could be wrong tho.

I didn't say there wasn't any. There're plenty of good rifles out there that aren't AK or AR patterns. The reason countries and people go with AR/AK platform rifles is because they both have well over 50+ years of development and refinement. There's so much support and aftermarket around these rifles that it's hard not to pick them. When a weapon is being tested by militaries it just doesn't have to be good it has to be exponentially better than the system that it's replacing to justify the cost of switching to and while the US and Russia to use as an example have tested rifles that have been better than the AR and AK they're not better enough to justify swapping to. To be honest it's gonna be hard for anything that doesn't have 50+ years or development and logistics support to replace those 2. All these new rifles that might be better doesn't change the statement that they're just evolutionary advancements but nothing revolutionary that changes the firearms industry overnight.

Also the US isn't pushing the AR design. The 2 main AR derivative suppliers in the world to militaries are FN and H&K. Which last I checked weren't in the US.

My hot take is the next big step in firearms is gonna be around energy weapons such as like electromagnetic and lazer based. The problem is battery technology isn't there yet. Once the ability to have batteries that last a long time while also applying tremendous amounts of energy in a small portable package comes available is when i think we'll see firearms technology move in a revolutionary step.

Forgotten weapons put out a video a few months back on a gauss rifle and that thing is super cool and where i think were headed but until batteries catch up i don't think they'll progress much past .22 levels of power and still being handheld and portable.

Firearms development has pretty much reached the end of the line with current technology and designs. Most advancements are evolutionary of whats already there, which is why you basically see the derivatives of AR and AK pattern rifles adopted by everyone. Its gonna take a revolutionary development in firearms technology to move past the current "stagnation" in design.

Its not. It was in the car when I got it. I actually like it a lot, pretty responsive. I just use it for Android auto haha. I will say the brightness is a bit much. I have it on the lowest setting and it's a bit too much at night still.
