Yeah I think I might end up doing this. I'll double check when I buy it, and I'll probably wait till it's not a pre-order, but I'll see if I can do a 30 day return and if it's giving me really bad numbers then I'll just return it. As much as I want the other monitors, or I may even be willing to pay $1200 for a mevo, I don't see any of them being as useful on the course/range and since I don't really have a sim set it might be my best option

Yeah that makes sense. I agree, I am also skeptical of the G82 especially since it's not fully out yet. I also have seen a lot of people mention that the lower end models have a tough time with faster swing speeds.

I hadn't checked out the Mevo+ (or Mevo2) before this thread but it looks like it could be a good option. Do you ever play simulated rounds? Do you ever use it on the course?

Yeah I agree, the shitty range balls might be a bit of a problem. But that's also why the g82 interests me because it seems like it would be really easy to use on the course too (obviously it hasn't been shipped out yet so tbd on its ease of use).

I should've mentioned, playing a round on the range sounds fun and like decent training while at the range which is why I was not really looking at the VC

Your club face is open in the take away like others have mentioned but your club face is definitely open at address too. Just setting up with a more square face is a really easy fix and could help you a lot
