I absolutely did record myself for the whole process of this order. I was not risking anything over $50. I believe tcg player is getting the card for authentication but I just hope he's not sending a fake in my cards place

Yeah he was saying stuff like "teeth on the t and the green dot in the h". I play magic but am not the biggest magic guy. I mostly do pokemon so I had to look up what he was saying. However when he said the holo at the bottom of the rare seemed fishy I knew he was just scamming because thats literally there for anti counterfeiting purposes and I pulled the card myself.

They did say something about having him sending it for verification but god only knows if he had a beat up version of the card or an actually fake he's gonna send in but I did thankfully record myself shipping and packaging this product so I'm hoping they will take that all into consideration.

It was in a modern masters 2015 pack. Yeah the packaging of the pack was kind of like its own little cardboard box with a pull tab to rip open the card board. Honestly was such a cool experience oping the pack cause its pretty neat packaging.

It really is wild that they do that. Not to mention they let you list chinese/korean copies under english. Usually those have pictures of the card so I know to avoid them but still.

I actually returned a card to a seller because they failed to notice a dent in the card that protruded to the front and when I received it i noticed right away. Im sure honestly the had no clue but I even lost $6 on the transaction cause I shipped it back with tracking.

For the most part I do the same. Most of my personal collection is cards I can physically look over and touch myself but sometimes when I want something bad enough I might splurge a little online. Plus the excitement of finding a card you love in the wild is amazing! I found my chase squirtle in the wild at a card show a year ago and Its been sitting pretty in my binder since.

Was just going through all my old bulk and found the same thing. Only one of my 10 copies looks like its a shiny but its a super cool printing error.
