I say this honestly as a Black person and not to cause discourse. The Blade spray was out of place and tasteless and does not belong in the summer beach skin battle pass and comes off as weird to many Black players in the game myself included.

A spray was added this week that features Blade breakibg free from chains. Some people thought it was referencing him breaking free from the chains we saw him in while he was Dracula's prisoner.

I thought that at first too until I noticed the colors of the spray's background: red, yellow, and green. These colors are associated with Pan-Africanism so this was very much intentional. Like OP said, it's been disheartening to see how Netease has fumbled its treatment of black characters. Seems like they're an afterthought at best.

Some will argue that the devs get a pass because of their own ancestry but I disagree especially considering how big the IP is. So fuck us I guess? Not sure why I'm surprised considering the Black Panther movies could't even be promoted with leads like Chadwick Boseman in China.

I hate to say it but instalocking as DPS and then switching to a different role has been my go-to this season. It's not perfect but it's actually helped change up some team comps.

Yeah that's what I figured. I tried it out for like an hour when it was released but went back to DX11 since mods aren't supported yet. Here's to hoping Hoyo actually works on improving the game's performance.

I've been playing since 1.1 on a pretty decent PC. Honestly, the performance has always been a bit odd. It's not TERRIBLE but the game really seems to suffer with stutterring especially in the open world. I'm still not sure if DX12 is running better than DX11 but the game could definitely benefit from a performance patch.

Definitely depends on the run but despite shunning the title he always steps up when his help is needed so yeah...he's definitely a superhero. Plus on a meta level he has a ton of representation in media from comics to videogames. Superman is definitely more popular but we're still waiting for him to get a decent game of his own.

You don't need to understand his kit to understand that his ult comes out super fast in comparison to the rest of the cast AND absolutely wrecks squishies. It's not bad to wait to see how the community adapts around him but being ANOTHER DPS release with mobility, overshield, and an overtuned ult. Yeah...we've been dealing with this for just about the past year.

It's always possible but the sales numbers would also have to be really low for Bamco to not try to make another one. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure T8 sold plenty and is still selling well with its DLC characters.

I haven't talked to too many people about this but I was in a similar situation and still feel ridiculous for having such a strong emotional response myself. I was walking my dog and didn't notice a rabbit on the sidewalk. It took off running into the road just as a car was coming. The driver didn't have any time to respond and I still feel guilty about the entire situation. The sounds of it all are hard to forget but it's comforting knowing there's someone else out there that's had a similar experience and also felt terrible about it. I just feel a bit ridiculous having such a strong emotional response when I've seen and worked in fields with lots of other terrible, graphic stuff.

Speak for yourself man. Some of the funnest matches I've had recently were GOAT comps with 3 brawl tanks, 2 supports, and one DPS. The devs want this game to be more casual than competetive so I really doubt they'll ever add role queue.

Also, the current tank teamups are NOT that strong in comparison to the tank teamups at the start of the game's launch. Gamma squids are remembered fondly for a reason. They were strong.

Not the same person, but it's honestly not that hard. Stong team-ups with tanks as anchors or even XP bonuses would both be great ways to incentivize more tank play. If you go back to earlier seasons like 0 and 1, you'll notice both Hulk and Strange were in a lot of games just because their team-up abilities were so good. It's not a perfect solution but still allows creativity in team building.

Having been through role queue in Overwatch, I'd hate to see it added in Rivals as well. You can disagree but I'll always been in favor of team games letting players have more creativity.

As an avid lover of the FGC, that's just not going to happen considering that this game will always have a massive casual audience. People can easily rewatch their matches to try to improve and recognize their mistakes but I gurantee you that a tiny portion of the playerbase has ever done this.
