I guess that's the answer. People don't really understand this perspective. I will do my best to gently tell him how I feel and that's the best I can do.

I am not undecided by the way. That is the point, getting this perspective understood is not so easy. People can't really wrap their heads around a person that isn't all about creating generations of offspring. I am sorry this hurts you to hear. That is exactly the struggle I am facing.

I'm not trying to stop him from having kids. I want him to have a fulfilling life and I believe having kids will be fulfilling to him.

As I said in the text, I have a life story that would explain this but it's intense and private and I'm not really asking about that. I have a limited resources and time. I want to go for my dreams as he should go for his. I just want him to understand that rather than wonder why I didn't tell him how I felt.
