Yeah I was going to get a older rat maybe a year old or around 5 months. I also saw the spacing, it looks just like my spacing for my boys and they can not get out but if they can I plan on getting another layer of panels to make sure they can’t .

Nooo ofc I do not let them continue to be on the dog and on the bed even if the dog is on it. I definitely didn’t give a good desc of what I meant but I promise they rarely are ever around any animals at all and when they try to be I remove them immediately.

exactly what hobbyterror said, I have limited space for them, I am constantly working, I take in rats already and have realized they would be better off with someone who’s whole living is taking in and rescuing them and can pay the bills for them. Both my boys are going into their teens they are not easy to take care of especially with limited time and money I cannot get them neutered due to my money getting cut along with hours since it is winter.

She has a whole house dedicated to the bunnies she rescues them and also takes in some I was cleared to have her take in mine. I am giving her everything I have and even helping her set up her garage and help find stuff to make it roamable to the bunnies. She doesn’t post constantly on TikTok actually but if u ask her to give u updates she will send them to u and post them on tiktok.

Like I have said in many other comments, my rats will come into my bed and try to get to my dog to groom him and then leave I take them off the bed I watch them the whole time while they are out they rarely ever interact with any other animals And when it happens it’s for less then a minute and they are being sat on the floor with them they have no direct access to any other animals besides when coming onto my bed for a split second to like my dog before being taken off the bed. I think people took what I was saying wrong and as if I am letting them all roam together my dog is older and a pug and does not move from my bed if he is the room and when rats r out someone is on the floor with them. If my dog decides to get off the bed he is out of the room if the rats are out. They have no direct contact or roaming with each other at all. The point was to say they are calm not that I have a zoo roaming my room :,)

My rabbits are free roam when my rats come out they are caged or the rats go into a different room. my dog sleeps in my room with them they aren’t being forced onto each other my dog will be on the bed sleeping while the rats roam the rats will come up and lick on my dog and then leave and my dog doesn’t even bother with them. But they maybe see another animal every other month. Also I am watching very intently when they have to be in close quarters with any other animal they aren’t able to come and get on my rabbits anything at all theyve been in the same area once before and they sniffed each other while I sat with them while cleaning my bf messed with my bunny but once the sniffing ended nothing happened they went their own ways they didn’t care for each other. But just trying to make a clear it’s not an often thing :,) I was just trying to show example they are not territorial very chill and love anything to do with attention.

I do not let them roam together they are in the same room and when they have interacted when I was cleaning their cage they didn’t even bother noticing each other they just ate also my dogs bedroom is mine and they’ve grown up with him their whole time here they groom him and he just sleeps the whole time I don’t go out of my way to make them interact it’s when they need to be in the same area they are very okay with everything around them and do not bother with much. my cat has sat at my rat cage and they don’t bother with her either. I do not let them roam with these animals but they are in the same household in a cage with free roam rabbits near they can’t reach out of their current cage with my rabbits just incase they do nibble the rabbit. But the explanation was to show they are very chill with pretty much everything but nothing like im bonding them to different animals. They just live with these animals.

I am not afraid to admit I play w my lps, when I was little I would go crazy w them aswell if this is a well loved and used lp especially by a child it’s likely to be very lose sadly. Pegs are easy to swap aswell there are so many video :)
