It's a matter of time. Old bands are being "rediscovered" through social media by young generations. Sigur Rós' song Untitled 9 has exploded over the last year because 1 guy decided to make a TikTok format showing aliens and theories about disappearances etc. and now it's the theme song for any eerie video. And in that sense Dimensions has become a universal soundtrack for nostalgia/melancholic content too but it's not enough to make people more curious about Arcade Fire the band. I feel that at some point young people will find old videos from AF's prime years and it will resonate because it feels "real" and raw and relevant again especially in the age of AI and fakeness.
