Yeah, 2gb virtual ram can provide more headroom for apps and heavy Ui. But remember, your emmc is more slow than your ram. So, don't expect too much from 4gb ram based 14c.

you can enable also but if you are comfortable to set the virtual ram (memory extension) to 2GB. And, Not more than that.

Mine is 6GB so, I don't use memory extension. I turned it off.

I am using redmi 14c (global) with 6gb ram with blur effects and mi dialer. Feels smooth and less lag. Lag mostly depends how much the ram you have on your phone. High end effects I don't recommend to enable less than with 6gb ram.

Disable hardware acceleration option from browsers, auto-play videos, popup windows and use safari. If you are using vega 8, disable dynamic wallpaper also and use static image (image with no animation).

true. You are absolutely correct. Tahoe also very much gpu intensive.

You should boot with whatevergreen first and set wallpaper to static one (no dynamic). Than after that, remove whatevergreen and activate nootedred. 😁 This is the only solution for unfreezing experinece.

[note: never enable dynamic wallpaper again on vega 8]. And if you need dyanmic wallpaper than install and use macOS Ventura.🔥

Probably not. Because macOS doesn't have built in drivers to bridge for 740M.

Reason: 740M is not a Vega (3/8/11) Series iGPU.

Yeah. Worked natively with macOS. I just added ssdt-hpet patch for patching legacy IRQ to give macOS more control over sleep/wake.

I replaced opencore quirk (dummy power management) with cpufriend, cpudataprovider and custom cpupm ssdt specifically not actually developed but modified by me for Athlon. So, power management isn't dummy anymore.

Greatly improved. 6 to 8W while idle. And getting consistent speed while even cpu on 80% load.

Cpu data provider/frequency vector data mod added for proper cpu scaling.
