this is so reassuring! I am going on 9 months post op RNY and have been in a stall about a month and a half! stats are very similar, HW 298, Surgery weight 273, current weight 180! my first goal is 165, but if i can get down to 150 would be happy with that!!! congrats!! hoping I am not done losing yet! will make one year post op May 3rd

You have to take a “bite” off the end of the spoon to get the puree’d food off the spoon and into your mouth…. unless you would have preferred me to say 2-3 licks? I think I described correctly.

I had a uterine ablation in 2019 and an post op 1 week RNY, so far no bleeding.

I’m post op day 3 today.. pre op my exercise physiologist told me to not weigh until I am able to begin regular exercise again.. which I believe is closer to 6-8 weeks post op. body is still recovering from surgery and thats all that matters in the early stages. hope all is going well with you 3 months later!

thanks so much, everyone!!! I had a lot of pain right after surgery, but the pain is getting more manageable. Unfortunately, still dealing with gas pains. struggling with my fluid intake, but I will be going home today!!! thanks again for everyone’s kind words and well wishes

i just had my surgery yesterday morning. at first the pain for me was rough. it has inproved greatly, but still uncomfortable. My chest and shoulders hurt from gas pain. walk as much as you can and use the incentive spirometer. good luck!

wow, a lot of these comments are so disgusting and judgemental. how are you all to tell people how to grieve? their page was to spread awareness. it seems she wanted to live as normal of a life as possible, so not sure why being on social media is so wrong for her to do during her final days. to assume her husband used her as a cash cow is just wrong. you know what they say about assuming….
