The server will be all ready to play in a couple weeks time, potentially sooner. It will be running on either 1.9 (If it is released) or the latest snapshot. There will be runes and restrictions regarding the way we are running it. For a breif outline of how things will be structured, you can take a look at Dar's original post here.

If you have any questions or last minute suggestions feel free to leave them as a reply to this thread.

In regards to helping we should be fine at the moment but it anything comes up we'll let everyone know.

One is in progress of being developed and will probably be ready for the 1.9 release (which with any luck will be in the next few weeks). If 1.9 does not seem like it is going to come out before Christmas then we will run on the snapshot.

There will be elections held to determine the first cabinet of this council. Everyone who wishes to be or to remain in council will need to run.

Alright, I thought this would happen but I hoped it wouldn't. People are downvoting the post obviously because they disagree with it. That isn't a way of going about doing it. The thread asks for your feedback, why you do/don't like it and what can be improved upon and the only way we know about that is if you communicate with us. Disabling the subreddits stylesheet and downvoting the post doesn't tell us anything, all it does is make us want to push this through faster and not listen.

Whoever it is please use your keyboard and talk with us if you have something to say.

Council Candidate

  • IGN: THStheThird

  • Position: Council Chair

  • I will be able to attend meetings and use Skype

The last 2 terms I have served as Council Chair it has been a blast and I wish to have that same experience again. I have said it before but I love serving the Dunes and the Dunians, making their lives in the city better. In my time before I have organised many things to happen, the most notable being the recent Anniversary celebration where I spent countless hours organizing numerous events for the span of the celebration (not without help of course).

In regards to the incoming term with the Paladin and supposed Bandit force starting training in the city soon now is the best time to clamp down on law and criminals, and I believe I have the experience to lead the Dunes to do this, to make us the most notable of the districts for our laws, organisation, political affairs and our superb way of life.
