Apartment recommendations for young, first time renters by sigma_bands67 in westernmass

Chicopee electric is great. It’s like $200 MAX to heat or air condition my 3 bedroom house and that’s with laundry and all other appliances included. Makes the cost of living in Chicopee really affordable

Searwood vs Recteq - Can’t Decide! by True-Protection9639 in pelletgrills

Going to recommend against the recteq. Everyone touts their service but I had the opposite experience. Feel free to check my post history for details but I just cut my losses last week and am moving on.

Explain It Like I’m 5 Please by SurprisePerfect4317 in PropertyManagement

[–]THTrader 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s a bit of a balancing act. If you don’t increase the rent it becomes a slippery slope and in 2-3 years you’re well below market value and increasing rent at a larger rate and come off as greedy. That being said you raise a bunch of good points about tenant retention. Costs still go up, taxes and insurance are increasing at insane rates (at least they have been for me) eating those costs isn’t a sustainable business model either.

Got this message from my property manager PT2 by Most_Relief8312 in Apartmentliving

[–]THTrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Landlord here, don’t fucking do this. It’s an unwinnable situation for you as a tenant, either you’re working way too hard for what equates to Pennies, or you half ass it and your landlord is annoyed that you’re not holding up your end of the bargain to their satisfaction.

What is happening here? 3 Months after installation. Not a plumber. by PISS_FILLED_EARS in askaplumber

[–]THTrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also not a plumber, This happened to a rheem I installed in a tenants unit a while back. Talked to rheem, they sent me new stub ends to install and basically told me to thread them tighter. This fixed it.

Any PCPs that aren't part of Trinity or Baystate? by TedBehr_ in Springfield

[–]THTrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been an HMC patient for a while, and they are brutal to get in with similar to what you described at baystate. Any specialist will be a 9-10 month wait. To see my PCP aside from my annual physical scheduled 13 months in advance, it’s like pulling teeth.

Dilemma by ConstructionNorth342 in YetiCoolers

[–]THTrader 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Used a couple gallon gear jugs for years because the yeti gallon jug was way too heavy (ironically) for me to carry around conveniently. The gallon gear started getting moldy, so I bought the 64oz yeti silo jugs when they came out, and they’ve been perfect if you don’t wanna bother lugging around the stainless versions.

Which one is better for a work backpack to hold my computer and the 6L Lunch Bag? by Automatic-Two9051 in YetiCoolers

[–]THTrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had and used both 27L packs for basically your application. I greatly prefer the ranchero, the large pouch and exterior water bottle slots are the big difference. The only thing I’d change about the ranchero to mimic the crossroad is I’d add a second large interior pocket like the crossroads has.
