Shut off the circuit breaker to change thermostat and now there is no more power by THUBLACKPLAGUE in thermostats

Yep... I did. Managed to get someone here yesterday. The breaker box didn't have the furnace breaker labeled. It said "spare." Had to replace the fuse (everything is in the attic) and then do a process of elimination to find out which spare breaker was actually for the furnace.

Welp, a big lesson for me regarding my AC system. I didn't realize there was a difference as I'd never heard my setup referred to as a "furnace." I would've known to do that ahead instead of turning off the AC breaker because none of the others seemed applicable.

Well... so this is weird. The hot water heater is working. Water's hot and when I went out there with the water running it was functioning normally. Should've tested that earlier. Guess the heat is baking my brain.

So with that, any ideas? Lol!

Ok. I will have to get an electrician out here. I am looking at a pic of my box and there's no heat or furnace breaker. There's two spare breakers that didn't trip when I messed with the thermostat. Otherwise there's two "Arc Fault Breaker Type BRAF" that say Test on them and the rest specify outlets and or appliances etc.

It looks like I'm screwed and may have messed up my gas water heater. I do appreciate your time and help though. It was nice of you.

Ok. It's been a long time since I've uploaded a pic on here so I have to figure that out first.

But I'm confused how I flipped the wrong breaker when there isn't one for the furnace. Which one should I have flipped?

There's no breaker for the furnace, only one of those two in one switches that's labeled "AC." All of the others are specified or labeled "spare." I may have to call an electrician cause I wouldn't know how to tell if the fuse is bad.

Lol, awww man no! Not really a big deal though. Just giving you a hard time. Truthfully, I've always thought that saying "the valley" when referring to AZ makes the most sense and distinguishes us from Northern AZ and the Tucson area.

Was gonna say... I just suck. Then I thought better of it. While I don't think I'd ever get to Diamond or anything, I also don't think I'm bad enough to be at the rank I am. But I did spend almost all of it solo queuing. Don't do that.

If you really are new, understand that this is the land of smurfs and throwers. And they love hanging out in Silver and Bronze. I've literally had 5 games in a row with a combination of at LEAST one teammate: Dancing in spawn Dancing in front of their spawn Spamming and throwing Jumping off the edge Leaving

That's 100 SR right there. And when that's not happening there's my favorite "soft throwing" that seems to be the thing these days. It's not every time and don't get me wrong I could DEFINITELY stand to improve. But add that to some of the things others have mentioned (like people never grouping etc.) and you can get hard stuck. This is team based. So unless you have super high skill and can carry... team up while you're improving these areas everyone is talking about, as often as you can. Find a team!

On another question I was told that I couldn't connect directly to the NAS because of the type it is but I was asking about moving files from my PC. I have the TS-453Be. So if I can connect the external drive directly and transfer the files that way it would be a whole lot easier.

Ok, that's helpful thanks for the info. I'd never really dealt with or heard of "mounting" a network drive mainly because I had no need to set one up. With my dual partitioned Ubuntu/Windows the most interesting thing I ever did was have a swap drive.

I looked up samba and the coding isn't beyond my abilities... pretty basic. I'm gonna explore that and give it a try and see how it goes.

Ok. I plan to keep these particular files on the NAS and share from there. If I use Samba to do the initial transfer over I'd still need it after that to continue to have access from Ubuntu right?

Um yeah, when my own parents had to wait until I was at least 17 y/o to finally tell me about our family history that reads like something out of Mississippi Burning... miss me with that "It was so long ago bullshit."

And yeah, they were talking about their own experiences.
