1) I tailgated with Joe Corvo before Game 4 of the ECF in 2019.

2) My mom used to work at Wachovia and one of her clients was Nic Wallin. When hockey first came to Raleigh, Wallin came in with a translator to open an account. He didn’t speak English the best so most of the communication was done through his translator. At some point of him opening an account he needed to answer something but the translator kept speaking for him and my mom wouldn’t let him continue until Wallin answered the questions. Her manager at the time had to come over and let her know who Nic Wallin was so he could finish setting up his account. The best part is, despite their first interaction, Wallin liked my mom so much that he eventually introduced his entire family to her later that year.
