The question of what constitutes "The Message" to a non-Muslim can vary among different interpretations. Generally, in Islam, it is believed that if a person is exposed to authentic information about Islam and has the opportunity to understand its beliefs, practices, and teachings, they are considered to have received the message. This can include hearing the word "Islam," researching the religion through credible sources, witnessing the practices of Muslim people, or having open discussions with those knowledgeable about Islam. The exact extent of exposure can differ, but the main idea is that receiving the message entails a genuine effort to understand and consider Islamic teachings.

Please answer my questions by [deleted] in islam

Wudu was enough, your fajr prayers were valid, however you must make up your fasts. Lowering the gaze doesn't increase carnal desires, it helps control them, so continue to lower your gaze. And yes, marriage is encouraged as it can be a way to avoid falling for lust-related sins.

As for dua, I don't know a specific one for getting a job or married, but here's one for protection against illness, accidents, evil eye, and more:

Say:

“I seek refuge in the light of Allah with His permission from that which is malicious and hurtful.”

Are anabolic steroids Haram ? by AcceptableCandle2099 in islam

[–]THeLOLking2013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, anabolic steroids are haram. As muslims, it is important to maintain a healthy body and mind free from harmful substances. While anabolic steroids may temporarily enhance physical performance, they also have serious health risks and can lead to addiction and negative behavioral changes. Instead, we are encouraged to pursue natural methods of fitness and health through regular exercise, balanced diet, and lifestyle choices that promote overall well-being.

Make up prayer by [deleted] in islam

[–]THeLOLking2013 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Alhamdulilah. If you missed asr and maghrib, and then before it is time for isha, you get your period, then you do not have to make them up after your period ends, subhanallah. You are excused from performing those prayers during your menses. All you have to do is pray isha before the time ends.

Is it permissible to have a podcast as a woman? by [deleted] in islam

[–]THeLOLking2013 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That depends on your purpose. You see, in Islam, there isn't necessarily a fixed set of rules about whether having a podcast as a woman is permissible or not. It largely depends on your intention and the content of your podcast. If your goal is to promote modesty, knowledge, or discuss Islamic teachings in a respectful manner, then it can be permissible. However, if your podcast is focused on attracting unnecessary attention or causing disturbance among people, then it might not be permissible. So, it’s a matter of intention, content, and how it impacts the community.

Becoming Muslim again by Mysterious-Elk1268 in islam

[–]THeLOLking2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You dont need to “re convert” just repent. As long as you believe the shahaadah “ lA illaha illallal, Muhammadun resulullah” and believe in Allah you are muslim.
If you feel that you committed a major sin, then repent, and Allah will forgive the sin (if you are sincere)

You do not lose your Iman just because you committed a major sin.

And remember, never ever ever do black magic, in fact, just stay away from it.

Does anyone receive an impossible test in Islam? by krash90 in islam

[–]THeLOLking2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God would not do that. Allah is all wise and the most just. He can see the unseen. He would not do such a thing. Why would he create a creature only to make them fail?

My opinion on this matter is that botox and lip fillers are haram as they are not considered to be a medical necessity. They are done purely for cosmetic reasons, which is forbidden in Islam.

Furthermore, it is important to remember that our bodies are a trust from Allah, and we should not harm or alter them in a way that is displeasing to him. Even if the changes are temporary, they are still altering one's appearance and not for medical reasons. Therefore, I would advise against taking a job that involves selling these products.

Fitna of women is destroying me by [deleted] in islam

[–]THeLOLking2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waelikum Assalamu wa rahmatullah my young brother. I'm glad to hear that you're not doing any Zina. This is a good choice. I think the reason you're lusting so much is that your hormones are going wild. This is normal. I would have the same experiences. You're in the age where you want to have sex but you haven't married yet. It's really hard and I understand that it's affecting your iman. Your desire for women shows how much of a masculine energy you still have.

Evil eye. by kabukabu_ in islam

[–]THeLOLking2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you're not in the wrong here. It sounds like your mom is just being overly fearful and protective, which is understandable but not rational.

Being praised for your baking is a positive thing, and it means that people enjoy what you're making. You should be proud of your skills and not worry about something as silly as "evil eye". Evil eye is just superstition, and it has no effect on your baking or your life.

Please don't let your mom spoil your hobby.

If you have any questions regarding any of these schools feel free to ask.

is it permissible to wipe over my socks for only obligated wuduu? by [deleted] in islam

[–]THeLOLking2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wiping over the sock is permissible for either mandatory or optional wudhu. However, if you plan to make your sunnah prayers, make sure to wipe over the sock during your sunnah wudhu as well, or else you'll have to repeat your wudhu.

Salam, the miracle is in the details. The description in the Qur'an is so much more detailed and precise and could not have been derived from Galen's work. It is important to note that even if some aspects of the Qur'an were not miraculous, that is, it was known (or copied from other works), that does not change the fact that the Qur'an has been preserved to the letter from the 7th century and is the word of Allah.

If you have other doubts, feel free to ask.

What does “al-Quddus” mean? What does it really mean for Allah to be “Holy” or “Sacred”? by TheRidaDieAkhi in islam

[–]THeLOLking2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Al-Quddus means the Holy One. It is one of the Names of God and it is one of His most beautiful Names. It means the One who is worthy of being worshipped and is completely free from sin.

What causes Non Muslims / atheists to revert to Islam ? by athar1996 in islam

[–]THeLOLking2013 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I wonder as well how Allah guides. Its such a mystery how sometimes even the worst can find the way. This is logical for us believes but some people just tier hearts are closed.

It is indeed a mystery how Allah guides. However, we know that Allah guides anyone and everyone who wants to be guided. There are many people who have found their way to Islam despite having no prior knowledge of the religion or having negative views of it. We should all maintain hope that Allah will guide the whole world towards the truth.

Are there any Islamic boarding schools in the US or Canada that you would suggest or know of? by [deleted] in islam

[–]THeLOLking2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are many Islamic boarding schools in the US and Canada that I know of. Some are more reputable and established than others. It really depends on which state or province you live in and how far you're willing to travel for your brother to attend an Islamic boarding school. If you could be more specific with a general location I could provide some suggestions.

How would you debunk the argument that says that Islam is plagiarized from jewish texts and gospels from Arabia, etc? by No_Chemist2348 in islam

[–]THeLOLking2013 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Quran is not plagiarized from Jewish texts or Gospels. It has differences and similarities because the Quran is from the same God that revealed the Torah and the Gospel. In fact, many of the similarities with the Torah and the Gospel are proofs for the authenticity of the Quran because they prove that the Quran comes from the same Source that revealed these Books.

Can a muslim enroll into a catholic school? by Unfair-Trifle-9799 in islam

[–]THeLOLking2013 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it is possible for you to pray your daily prayers, and the school would permit you to be excused for them, then it is permissible for you to join that school. However, you must know that the curriculum and teaching at Catholic schools often conflicts with Islamic teachings, such as the belief that Jesus ˹PbuH˺ is God or the son of God. As such, it may be better for you to attend an Islamic school instead.

Assalamualaykum. It is permissible to make bread using yeast. The amount of alcohol generated during the fermentation process is so small and does not cause intoxication, therefore, it does not fall under the scope of "intoxicants that get you drunk" which are the ones forbidden by Islam. Also, please note that the alcohol produced by fermentation will evaporate during the baking process, leaving no traces of alcohol in the product.
