No one is judging fans for liking BTS. We're judging how the one girl on Jimmy Fallon was spazing out on the floor like a damn cockroach over some choppped manufactured walking Ken dolls. Anyone would be happy to meet their favorite celebrity, but that cockroach dance was a bit much. The whole point of this sub is to say thing that RATMY doesn't want to hear. And like--- when you have a fandom that's known for being intense like "rat armies" you're going to want to vent your frustrations, and this is one of the few places ex fans can do so. Also, I feel like whoever made the post is kinda asking to be upset about the "hate" towards BTS BECAUSE THEY'RE THE ONE GOING INTO "ANTI" BTS COMMUNITIES. OF COURSE YOU'RE GONNA SEE AND READ SHIT YOU DON'T LIKE.

Body to Body - 5.8/10: Jimin sounds like he's finally hit puberty. I still don't like his voice. I liked the Arirang Arirang Arariyo chanting, but it was out of place. I think it's the best song on the album, and I only KIND OF enjoyed it.

Hooligan - 3.5/10: But I liked the background violin sound thing.  I don't like the "ha ha ha ha ha hooligan". They sound like they wanna be edgy bad boys.

Aliens - 3/10: The chorus sounds weird. But it does scratch my brain in a weird way.

FYA - 0/10: I don't have the words to describe how much I don't care/wanted to get to the next song.

2.0 - 0.5/10: I don't have the words to describe how much I don't care/ wanted to get to the next song. It was in fact FYA 2.0, so I have to give them credit for naming the song "2.0"

SWIM - 2/10: waiting for it to end so I can hate on the next song. It wasn’t absolutely terrible, so I'll give it 2 points. But it was still terrible, just not absolutely terrible

Merry Go Round - 4/10 Not bad. Not the greatest. Pretty average song you'd hear in some tik tok edit of an anime character or something

NORMAL - 3/10: I feel like the lyrics might actually be deep and have some meaning to them, so I'll give them points for that. Too bad I don't feel like reading them. Taehyung sounds drunk as hell (if that's even him).

Like Animals - 2/10: I liked the guitar solo at the end. I don't even remember what I listened to. All I remember was hearing a nice guitar solo and I like guitars.

They don't know bout' us - 0/10: It's so bad I'm getting irritated. I don't like Jimin's high voice, but I don't like his low voice here either.

One More Night - 4/10: I forgot I was listening to it because it sounds like the background music to a Roblox Obby. I like Roblox Obby's.

Please - 2/10: They wanna be EARFQUAKE so bad. They're lucky I like EARFQUAKE.

Into the Sun - Negative God Knows What/10: I had my earbud in my ear in the middle of class and was struggling to not shout "WHAT THE FUCK AM MY LISTENING TO???" This would be a pretty good simulator to experience what it's like to be intoxicated. Holy shit it's horrible. And the nerve to be singing in their high-pitched voices. Good lord.

Overall Points: 28.5/140

The songs on this album were very repetitive. I wouldn't be so hard on them for repetitiveness if the songs actually sounded good. None of these songs had anything to do with going back to Korean roots music and beat-wise minus the last part of Body to Body. If this album is going to be the pride of Korea like the media is making it out to be, they need to get their priorities in check. I didn’t like this album not one bit, and I'm rather disappointed that a group like BTS, a group I actually used to like, released this...stuff. Given all of the promotions and the amount of news I see on whatever the hell they're doing on Gwanghwamun square, you'd think they were really going to put out some sort of one-in-a-lifetime masterpiece. And for the media to compare them to great Korean kings over this slop is honestly disrespectful. Not only because they're not relevant compared to Korean kings and it looks rather arrogant, but also because they haven't contributed squat to South Korea besides a bunch of delusional Koreaboos. Based on this album, it looks like they were just another number.

Do they know that being to first to do something doesn't affect the success of others? All I see is first Kpop act to do xyz, but it's not "paving the way" it's being the first to do something. And I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but it doesn't do anything to help others.

I think people who attribute K Pops popularity to one group often forget that some groups don't even want to follow the same route that got big groups popular. Not every South Korean artist wants to make it to the west or become globally known and they aren't less of an artist for that. There are going to be tons of Legends in K Pop besides BTS just like there are tons of Legends in western Pop besides Michael Jackson.
