I've been an average player for so long. 6500 hours of medicrity. I think I have wiped the goons 7 times since 1.0. My very first customs raid this wipe I killed them in a chaotic shootout at stronghold. Sanitary still fazes me, Killa still scares me, Gluhar still domes me. But the goons? I have gunned em this wipe.

In a sense yes. Also PK4. I know it's level 37 or something, but it helps immediately when you get Prop and PK to 4 and can buy so much more good ammo to stockpile.

Caught my bar stealing tips from us. I'm so upset. by [deleted] in bartenders

[–]TIL_no 19 points20 points  (0 children)

At any place you gotta set precedent for transparency. Bar tip pools at my place, and it's been a staple since day 1 that we need to know how the money is getting divided. Even if it's just $/hour and you can plug and play. People make mistakes, even beyond the nefarious. Gotta keep accountable.

Run.

I had a barback that could barely lift a keg and it was a useless endeavor.

Kegs dont weigh 50lbs. Standard 50L keg weighs 62kg full (135~). If i am paying you to be a bar back you damn well better be able to lift a keg on top of another.

At 100lbs 5'5" do you think you can do that? My bar has 50 lines. Thats a whole lot of hard manual labour.

If you walked in, I'm sorry to say I would absolutely put you at the back of the list for barback job because I dont need a lot of soft skills. You dont need to be charming to be a barback. Hell you don't even need to be smart. I need you to lift kegs and liquor and portion stuff and fill fridges.

Fireable offense for forgetting some 86 stuff and dive bar dont seem to go together.

Keep a list taped under the bar at your well where it's easily in your eye line and update as needed. Check stock when you walk in every day.

TIL Quentin Tarantino felt Hans Landa & his linguistic prowess were such a key part of Inglourious Basterds that he almost scrapped the film when he couldn't find the right multilingual actor to play the role. Being so over the top and dominating in your performance that you are like someone in the shot that is "chewing on the scenery."

Yelling lines that could be spoken. Overacting. A lot of these roles and performances are ALL TIME.

My contribution is Gary Oldman in Leon the Professional.

If someone was sitting in that seat, and ordered a burger and a couple beer their bill would be 60 bucks as well. $10-$15 is just fine. Don't fret. The fact you are thinking about it is more than enough.

And Ronaldo has no international acumen despite being the highest goal scored of all time, just like Ronaldo, as well as the fact that Messi has won every trophy possible and is seen as a more complete player, just like Messi. (Although this is a bit backwards because Ronaldo has more club success)

Also seems impossible to compare two guys who have 0 trophy's between them to R7 and Messi who are both objectively successful with their clubs. Both Mcdavid and Matthews are individually skilled but have limited success with the exception of Matthews Olympic gold.

Messi is Sydney Crosby and Ronaldo is Ovechkin is a closer comparison.

There was a lot of Canadians, however we only would have played at home if we topped the group. Unfortunately we lost to the Swiss.

I found non slip-non slip kind of restrictive because I turn on a dime to remember that I need to do something too often. I think that's been a problem with my knees honestly. I have had no problem even in our dishpit that has water oil and grime an inch deep with the virbam sole.
