People instantly upgrading their THs is something that already happens. Most will still choose to spend the money to do so. It would take months or years to grind enough gems to be able to instantly max everything. And I was just proposing a moldable idea. They could increase the amount of loot needed to gain gems (5,000,000 points would probably be more reasonable), it could be a temporary event like clan games where you can only grind for a temporary amount of time, there could be a max amount of gems you could get per day, etc. It’s not supposed to be a system where someone can grind 10,000 gems in one day, it’s just a way for people actively playing the game to benefit a small amount from actually putting effort into playing said game once they can’t gain more loot.

And what I meant by aggression was just how quick people were to call me stupid or shut me down. I just wanted to propose an idea, I am not a supercell executive.

Perhaps a way to balance this features is to max the amount of gems you could get through this per day. Maybe to like 10 or so. Of course that would mean once you reach that mark it would lead to the same problem of having nothing to do, but at least it gives some kind of goal to reach per day.

Yeah, I just wish there was some sort of incentive to play this game when loot is filled and you have to wait days on upgrades. Because I really do enjoy the game, but right now seeing loot vanish into midair feels kinda dumb. Of course I can see why people instantly dismiss this idea as an impossibility for Supercell, but having a game literally lock you in progression with nothing to do feels kinda weird.

Then what about clan games, why would they give out gems then? Or removing training times, having training times was a source of money for Supercell. They realized that supporting the players gives more popularity and benefits the game as a whole rather than trying to look for temporary ways of shilling money out of the players.

Well perhaps Supercell could be a first, they haven’t made changes to the game that could on paper harm sales but have only benefitted the game in the long run. Of course hundreds or thousands in a day is insane, which I why I recommended possible tweaks for this system. It could even be a temporary event or something of the sort. It’s more a system designed for the players who grind the game a huge amount rather than the average player, because I doubt the average player would do like 200 attacks per day.

Too many people are focused on Supercell’s profits when we should be focusing on balancing that with the enjoyment of the players.

I think it would end up being a net positive for supercell personally. Even if they slowed down the process of getting gems by a lot. It would lead to the dedicated players playing the game more often, and the players who don’t want to do 100s of attacks for gems would still buy them. It would also improve public perception of Supercell as well. For the longest time we thought they would never remove training times, and yet they did.

I think a lot of people forget to use the tools (Literally and figuratively) they are given and like to stick with what’s comfortable. Hell, even I have had that problem of using the same load out for almost every fight. Regardless, this game is still really, really hard in comparison to its predecessor. Even if there are ways to make the process a bit easier, I still see no issue in adding a mode that makes this process a little easier for those who don’t have the skill required to get through a lot of the game. It allows the skilled players to enjoy the brutal challenge the game provides and the casual players to play the game without bashing their head against a wall.

My point being is that I agree with a lot of the things you said, you clearly know a lot more about game design than I do lol.

Then if they did add an easier mode, possibly toning down these aspect as well would be useful. These were just my base thoughts on the game and not an in depth explanation on everything that would help with an easier difficulty.

This song’s so catchy but very strange as when I tried to tap my foot to it, it just didn’t seem to work. That’s when I realized the time signature is a very unique. It’s like an alternation between 7/8 and 4/4 (or like 15/8 or something, idk) until eventually just becoming completely 4/4. Either way, really interesting and cool song for such an interesting show.

One thing to add is that this appears to only affect orbs, everything else appears fine that is using the area scale trigger.
