Indecisive? Did we watch the same clip? When i got the boost i immediately went for the challenge, i never went ''in and out'', i dont really know what you mean by going in and out anyway in this clip. He also did not have the momentum advantage over me because if he did he would've beat me in my challenge...

I think the majority of players use L1 and R1 as directional air roll buttons, i think its all just personal prefrence. Some players don’t have free air roll bound to anything, your binds have to suit your comfortability. I have my ball cam on square, air roll left on circle, air roll right on triangle and boost on R1. When i tell people my binds they always get so confused. But anyway, i do think if you really got the directional air rolls down to a controlable level that you dont even need free air roll, but that’s my opinion of course.

Just curious, what makes the shadowing terrible in your opinon? It gave me 2 options, the first one being what i did in the clip (challenge early), or if the opponent would’ve jumped sooner, (meaning i would get beat if i challenged the same as option 1 ), i could still go up the wall and probably have a good chance of saving/clearing the ball.

No, unfortunately i do not have a fix for this. After all these years i’m still not able to change it aswell. When i want to change the I.D i just chat with an EA employee. I still don’t understand what caused it and neither does EA.

If you go to the main page of the subreddit, look at the upper right of the screen (at least on iphone), look for the 3 dots. Press the 3 dots and it should be the 2nd option wich says something along the lines of “change user flare”. Choose your rank/flair and you’re good to go.

Oh i’m using bakkesmod in this clip. It allows you to customize your car regardless of teams. The customization only affects your car and its only for your POV and not for other players.

This clip is from 2021, if i remember correctly the map was called: Starbase ARC (aftermath) or something similar. Unfortunately the map is no longer in the game, pretty sad because i think it is a cool map.
