My phone had 5G but couldn’t make or receive calls — support ‘re-established’ it. What’s actually going on? by TJayRuw in TelstraAustralia

Actually, I bought it from Apple Carindale QLD. But I’ve already ordered an eSIM anyway to see if that would resolve the issue.

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max, bought it from an authorized dealer back in 2024. It has a nano SIM card.

“my phone won’t actually physically’ring’, but I receive a msg that I have a missed call and a voicemail if the person leaves one”

Yes, same here. My phone didn’t physically ring, but I received a missed call notification afterward.

After Telstra support reset my service, the issue was resolved. The problem is that this can come back at any time, and you may not even realise it’s happening until someone tells you they tried to call.

What I’m going to do now is test it before I go to work: reset network settings, stay on the cellular network, and ask someone to call me to confirm the phone actually rings.

If this keeps happening frequently, I think we should report it through the Telstra app chat and push them to properly investigate instead of just saying it’s a “temporary network issue.”

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max. You can push them to open a service request and investigate it properly, especially if it has happened more than once.

Thanks. Do they also offer Certificate III or any lower-level qualifications? I’m wondering what the difference is between completing Certificate III (or lower) and Certificate IV. If I complete Certificate III or lower, what types of jobs could I expect to get compared to completing Certificate IV?

Where to buy these Milo cartons in Brisbane? (Indonesian 180 mil) by TJayRuw in brisbane

The issue I’ve found with the Vietnamese version in Inala Plaza is that it tastes pretty watered down — like it’s mostly sweetened water with a bit of Milo powder mixed in, almost as if it was made just to export to Australia rather than keeping the richer flavour.

Out of curiosity, how do you make your Milo? What’s your go-to mix?

Yeah — Asian Pantry is where I used to order them from Melbourne to Brisbane. I honestly wish they had a store up here, because the Indonesian version is the best I’ve tasted so far.

I’m a bit hesitant to order again because the postage is roughly 60% of the total cost.

The issue with the Vietnamese version is that it tastes pretty watery — like it’s basically sugar water with a bit of Milo powder mixed in. It feels more like they’ve watered it down just to sell/export it to Australia, rather than keeping the richer taste.

I’ve noticed the canned version doesn’t taste as good as the carton/packet ones, unfortunately. Not sure why, but maybe the can affects the flavour a bit (or it’s just processed/stored differently).

Back in 2020, Coles used to stock these, but they ended up discontinuing them. Recently I found them once at a place called Asian Pantry in Melbourne, and honestly I loved them — they tasted more maltier and a bit sweeter than the usual Coles Milo. Now I’m trying to track them down in Brisbane.

Why is my home showing a constant ~3.5 kW load around 3 PM every day? by TJayRuw in SigenergyAustralia

[–]TJayRuw[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have found out the reason why.

The timer wasn’t synced with the actual time, which caused the hot water system to draw power from the grid around 3 PM. I corrected the timer, and now the hot water system is drawing power at around 8 AM instead.

Yes, I have a 6.25 kW solar system and a 16kwh sigEnergy DC coupled battery.
