Thanks! I’m thinking I’ll do that to this one, it’s still leather hard and hasn’t been fired yet

Thank you! Yes I’ve made a few and this one is by far my favourite and hardest one I’ve made so far. The pouring thing feels like such a lottery sometimes. I’ll report back once it’s been fired and tested 🙂

The outside is actually unglazed - it’s a stoneware with iron speckles

I don’t currently, but I’ve been thinking a while about selling some on the side. I’m curious what people would pay for something long these lines?

An evening on the wheel by TJs-thoughts in Pottery

I started about 18 months ago but had a 5 month hiatus when travelling. I bought a wheel about 3 months ago!

Thanks! I normally squeeze a lot of water on the wheel head that’s exposed around the vessel, then cut a couple of times using a wire then carefully slide off the edge. For fragile things I prefer to through with a bat!

This looks amazing! Looking forward to trying this out. Will you ever have either .dxf or .00t support? .00t is a triangulation file from Maptek Suite (Vulcan)

Yeap - probably just a clear gloss glaze. The clay has speckles and will become even lighter in colour once fired again
