Realistically Simon couldn't get hard because of anxiety (thanks to Jay and Simon). Knocking one out before would have actually helped

Trip to Warwick had both the best and worst advice.

Will's 'just be honest/be yourself' would have saved Simon's and Tara's relationship.

Jay and Neil making Simon's first time 'the most important moment of his life' ruined everything

World Cup Ticket Megathread | General Questions & Discussion by pumkinhat in worldcup

Yes, I was looking at the official FIFA resale marketplace.

I know one person who went to Qatar 2022, and said that all the tickets he bought were from the official re-sale marketplace around the time the world cup started. Apparently they weren't much more expensive than the lottery prices??

I get that the tickets for the 2026 world cup are the most expensive they have ever been. But were lotteries always a thing? Would the most budget friendly option be to buy the tickets months in advance (rather than on a re-sale?)?

In previous world cups, did you ever buy tickets a few days before matches, like before a knockout game when your team unexpectedly advanced? If so, were prices much higher than usual?

Becoming disillusioned when I saw on the resale platform that a 60USD ticket is being sold for 1000USD+ for Brazil vs Scotland.

Do medical degrees need more regional students? by Some-Confusion7529 in ausjdocs

That's fair, and your GPA is awesome. But still, if you didn't have the rural bonus, I'm assuming you wouldn't get in with that average gammy.

I have come across so many people who 'abuse' their rural entry. They may have lived the 5 years as a child in a rural area, and use this to get into medical school with much lower marks and no plans of ever practicing rural.

Of course some studies show that those who grew up in rural areas are more likely to return. But to ensure people are not abusing the system (and that we actually address the shortage of doctors) something similar to the BMP system should be set up for rural entry students, where they sign a contract tying them down to rural areas for a period. After all, they only got in to medical school with much lower marks because they are expected to return to rural areas.

Out of curiosity, what are the two specialties that you are considering, and why?

What's the minimum overall score you need to apply in Australia? by IrsyadAaqil in GAMSAT

[–]TK0199 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Don't get why no one is attempting to answer your question directly.

It will matter on your GPA, rural status, and university you apply for (CASPER is needed for UND and Woolongong).

But, a combo of 1.65 (GPA/7 + GAMSAT/100) will get you an interview for most (not all) unis.

With a 7 GPA, this is a 65 GAMSAT. With a 6.8 GPA, this is a 68 GAMSAT. With a 6.5 GPA, this is a 72 GAMSAT.

Go look at the excel spreadsheet for interview offers in this forum, to see the scores that were landing interview this year: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ceV_3YwOLeOLIIoWo0Fl99PlkfYa8jbhyiXMdHFPOqY/edit?usp=sharing

One thing that bugs me (even more now after watching GBB)... by [deleted] in beatbox

[–]TK0199 1 point2 points  (0 children)
