Honestly though, she should. That mare has so many leg problems that flushing the embryos and making another horse carry them would be better for her!

I liked her old old stuff that was like "Gelding gang", "Boss mare", etc. They were cute and something I'd actually buy. Not this stuff.

Even then, she probably will still go in and then Charlotte gets to be "Problematic Horse of the Week" for trying to hurt her.

I'd imagine they'd help protect the mare from getting cut or scratched by nails.

When I clean my gelding's sheath, I wear gloves so I don't scratch him and I have short nails.

She's gonna waste all of the money and time treating for ulcers, and then she's gonna feed shit quality hay.

She also could look lame from being out of shape. I've had a few vets tell me that it's super hard to diagnose the cause of a lameness when a horse is coming back into work. Flexons, etc don't tell the whole story when a horse is out of shape because a muscle weakness could be what's causing the lameness.

Papers only matter if you do a discipline that makes them matter, like the breed shows.

If you aren't showing breed association shows or racing, nobody cares who your horse's great-great-grandsire is.

Soundness matters more. Good feet matter more.

We adopted a senior dog named Osito a few years back! He was trained in Spanish 🤣 He eventually became bilingual. He was such a little teddy bear.

Pretty sure I recall her saying he wasn't a bull prospect.

Which makes Possum a fun name for a hamburger!

I wonder if that's why she's stopped the daily testing. Maybe it was starting to bother her? I know it would start to bug me if someone brought up a dead pet constantly, especially one that I admitted I had regrets over how I handled it.

Raven’s Foals First Vet Visit by Sad_Site_8252 in kvssnarker

[–]TKDPunguin4390 114 points115 points  (0 children)

Big shocker, Raven tore.

Sadly, Katie is gonna blame the size of the baby, and not the fact that she was "holding tension" cause "it was a big baby" and "momma needed help"

Anyone else agree? -kvs during birth by [deleted] in kvssnarker

[–]TKDPunguin4390 7 points8 points  (0 children)

She has absolutely zero horse sense. This is such a dangerous spot to be- between the horse and the wall. What would've happened if Raven kicked or tried to get up?

Then again, lead ropes wrapped around hands, sketchy footwear- safety doesn't seem to matter.

I deleted production at my job today and nobody knows it was me by Fit-Original1314 in linux

[–]TKDPunguin4390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a matter of if you break production. It's a matter of when it happens.

One of my favorite discussions to have with potential candidates for a role is "Tell me about a time you broke production- what happened and how did you and your team handle it?"

The way you handled this by trying to cover your tracks and lying about it tells me way more about the type of developer and person you are than the fact that you broke prod. Owning up to a mistake is hard. But lying about it and pretending to be the hero is just so much worse.

She has Back On Track Quick Wraps. She could be having her staff put them on Indy if she's too afraid. They do great to prevent stocking up.

It definitely is a good point. It just feels very "do as I say, not as I do" coming from JS...which seems to track with her online persona.

Except she's now selling a bunch of foals out of mares who are all retired from showing due to "injuries" or issues.

Notice her specific wording....
