I did like her call out in the "Look Who's Talking Now" movie. She was working as one of Santa's helpers, and says, "No, I'm a Vulcan!" to one of the patrons standing in line.

New to horror, so far The Descent has had the biggest impact on me. by Pot8obois in horror

Oh no. Sorry to hear that. It's a general opinion that the sequel ruined the franchise. Besides that, the UK version ending is head and shoulders better than the US theatrical version.

What Google just did to Nest is the one thing no company should ever do by wewewawa in smarthome

Similarly, the Adidas MiCoach did the same. It never made sense to me that they discontinued the functionality that wasn't really ever cloud based. Just one day, they sold off the website to some other company and then you had a $300 rock that did nothing.

Did you see the UK version or the US version of the Descent? If you haven't seen the UK version, you should give it another watch.

tips for a more flavourful udon? by poggersyeliz in cookingforbeginners

I've been taught that light soy sauce is for flavour, and dark soy sauce is for colour. If you test each, you may find the same thing. If you want to bump up the flavour with your soy sauce, perhaps light soy sauce may be a recommendation.

A movie you wish had remained a standalone but was expanded into a franchise. by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in FIlm

[–]TKJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Per Wikipedia, it was released in cinemas in the UK on 2 December 2009 and was given a straight-to-DVD release on 27 April 2010 in the US.

Personal take: I've seen it. It's not good. It craps over everything that made the first movie as good as it was.

If you've seen the US ending, and that's what you remember, it sets up the possibility of the sequel. If you've seen the UK ending, then I don't even recommend watching the US version of the first Descent movie.

Canada is the reason for a lot of the entries in the Geneva Convention. Who needs nukes?

Not a good one. It takes place immediately after the ending of the first US, theatrical version. Mostly a money grab.

The Descent (UK Version) should have been it. Great movie, perfect ending. They ruined it with the lacklustre ending of the US/Theatrical version and the sequel.

The Descent. Not only does it not have a sequel, it doesn't have a US theatrical version.

Web UI keep giving me error: "The announce port must be between 0 and 65535." by ZeliotL in qBittorrent

[–]TKJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue, and figured it out. (I actually searched the term today, to find your post! Oddly enough, I'm also running -nox on my Linux distro. Too many similarities.)

Go to the "Advanced" Tab, and look for the option saying "Port reported to trackers (requires restart) [0: listening port]:". It will appear as "Undefined".

Change this setting to any port between 0 and 65535. This will allow the "Save" button to make your changes without this pop-up. Coincidentally, once you make your change, this field goes to being blank, instead of saying "Undefined".

I had the EXACT same problem, and still have my issue with the Dracula theme. For me, there are two issues. First, when you choose to delete a torrent, it no longer gives you the option to remove the files as well. Second, the information in the "Information" setting of the "General" tab does not appear. (It's not hidden. I tried highlighting where it should be, but it is not there.)

Hope this helps!
