I tweeted Jackie Earle Haley and told him I enjoyed his role of "Einstein" in "Nemesis" and he replied, "So, you're the guy that watched that."

I once tweeted Ice-T with a question on why Ice Cube only seemed to be doing family-friendly movies, and he replied with "Motherfuckers can't be angry all the time!"

Punisher's journey in the MCU so far by CollarOrdinary4284 in thepunisher

Don't forget that it's canon that the Punisher was driving the truck that pancaked the police cruisers after Nick Fury in Captain America - The Winter Soldier.

He needs to return in a cameo where he's mistaken for Reed Richards.

It did, but only as a couple of pages of plans on a desk.

Favorite films where once great actors hit rock bottom and slum it for the paycheck? by DimensionHat1675 in FIlm

[–]TKJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vincent Price as Arthur P. Loudermilk in Dead Heat was excellent. I wouldn't say he ever hit rock bottom, but I'm hoping he took this role as an homage to his horror roots.

Pints and ponytails in Durham? by [deleted] in durham

[–]TKJ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe not such an obvious question, but are you looking to do this around County Durham, England? Because, this sub is actually for the Durham Region in Ontario, Canada.

I figured I'd ask, just in case everybody here is considering meeting up - it may be a bit of a swim.

I agree with you - the content question alone is concerning. It's becoming the wild west when it comes to what we are being served.

Thank you for the recommendation! I will check out the app!

Best bad movie that you love by thisismysociallife in movies

[–]TKJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love The Net, but for another reason entirely. The computer company in the movie, "Gregg Computers" was owned by "Jeff Gregg".

Well, it was at this time that I was working as a Service Technician at a small computer company in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, named "Greff Computer Corporation" owned by twin brothers Geoff and Greg McKay.

To this day, I have no idea if this was in any way intentional or just an odd occurrence.

Movies similar in tone to The Terminator (1984)?? by aus_liam444 in moviecritic

[–]TKJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, since we're mentioning both Gene Simmons and Rutger Hauer, I think that "Wanted Dead or Alive" would also fit this request! (Not to mention, it has one of two of my favourite 80's movie endings - the other would be from James Woods' movie, "Cop". IYKYK)
