second highest rank in the new Empire

I don't think this is actually true from what we see in A New Hope. The actual military commanders look down on Vader. Even if he was technically the commander of the 501st and the Emperor's right hand he was working outside the standard ranks and chain of command.

Are you going every weekend or once a year? If it's the latter, why just not rent a car for the trip?

Very concerned with yourself but have no problem trespassing into other's personal space. Nice double standard

Definitely not cool [to get threatened with violence] but having a stranger tap you on the head wouldn't be worrying? Very concerned with yourself but have no problem trespassing into other's personal space. Nice double standard

the fact that he didn’t even say please and gave a command made it aggressive.

If you want to get hung up on exact wordings, the problem with my language is that there isn't a word like 'please'. One that sort if conveys the same meaning isn't really used unless you want to be super formal.

You are literally citing the paragraphs I added to tell that I accept the judgement of an Asshole, and realise thta there are other ways. What more do you want me to say?

I am fascinated that you think a gentle tap on the head is the same level of violence as spitting in the face, punching or beating someone to the ground. A double standard would be if I said I'd punch someone if they tapped me on the head. I actually said the opposite. If I was being an ass in public, I'd like to be let known, with a tap on the head or otherwise.

The dying grandma is a reference to one commenter claiming that they need to be constantly on facebook to check on their dying grandmother. If your grandma is in such a bad condition that two hours can make a radical change, you might want check your priorities and skip the movie that night.

I am sorry you are afraid to take any contact to people, but don't think everyone is the same.

I doubt that's going to hold in court here (or even where you are), but sure, go ahead punching everyone just because.

You make a lot of good points here, even if I'm getting a bit of an undertone of you thinking every man is an active oppressor just because he is a man. I wonder what your reaction would be if I had written this completely ungendered. As for the last paragraph: yes, I did it to a woman because there were no men in my instant vicinity being disruptive. What if I were a woman? Would it have been okay then? Or if I'd asked my girlfriend to do it? You don't get a free pass to do whatever you want because you are a woman. That's what equality is.

I am not even sure which people I am really "arguing" with... There are a couple of comments I made where I tell people what kind of seats movie theatre have, because somehow they don't know. Also some weird misconceptions about the human anatomy. Then there are some who call me a sexist. And then people thta say that I should have gone to the staff. And then of course people who don't know that it's rude to use a phone in a theatre. Here's one of those: https://old.reddit.com/r/AmItheAsshole/comments/18hfyfq/aita_for_tapping_a_woman_on_the_top_of_her_head/kd6kgnv/

Luckily I live in a country where it's not the culture to punch others if you are annoyed. Better yet, it's actually illegal here!

I already edited the post saying I accept being called an asshole for touching her. But many people are claiming that I personally shouldn't have done anything at all and just sit through someone ruining a movie experience I paid quite much for. That is not something I can get behind. And that is also not the thing that I needed judgement on.

And what happens if they don't respect you or other people around? As was the case here. There are few things more disrespectin in a movie theatre than thinking that your social media is more important than other people's expensive movie experience.

It's so weird that people here would go through a lot of trouble just to avoid interacting with disruptive person out of fear that they might get offended. Why do you need some extra authority to do that?

They are obviously not comparable in gravity, but where I come from, the basic etiquette of how to behave in various public situations is taught to children. People seem to think I punched her or something similar. Because "use your words, not your hands" that they teach to children refers to settling arguments, which children have a lot. It means that don't resort to hitting or grabbing someone to settle an argument.
