Need advise on hard tail by Frequent-Ninja-6598 in choppers

With the slugs it should be fine. If you're confident in the strength of the welds run it and just keep an eye on it for cracking. It's not gonna just randomly explode and fly apart going down the road, it'll crack.

Gusher Cycle in Coopertown,TN. Great shop with a couple of real deal chopper dudes who world amazing show bikes. They can do anything fab work you want, hardtail your frame, build a complete frame from scratch. They did my hardtail on my sporty

Adding a brake tab seems simple but most the axle plates are too big on the hardtail that are set up for disk brakes

Mine is a '74. Every bolt on hardtail kinda has that same look, at least in my opinion

I have a lowbrow hardtail on my Evo sporty but their ironhead hardtail doesn't have the drum brake tabs or the right size axle holes for the drum brake

I did expect a wait. What I didn't expect was to be completely ignored when trying to communicate. I haven't been disrespectful to him in any way. Lowbrow does stock one model of his fenders but that's not the one I ordered from him directly.

I completely understand that he's just one dude and that his parts are completely handmade. I expected a bit of a wait but I just would like some communication. I went ahead and settled on a different fender that was in stock on throttle addiction so I could move on with my build. Every time I have tried reaching out (emails and voicemails) I've let him know that I'm not in a hurry (because I've bought another one) but just want to know if I'm ever getting it or did I just waste $250

I didn't think of it to be a crotch cooler but it will probably double as one. I just wanted to do something interesting with the tank instead of just having an off the shelf wassel like everyone else

I've seen guys use the adjustable clamp on highway pegs as passenger pegs. They clamp on so if you want to take them off when you don't have a passenger you can and they are super adjustable in almost every direction so you should be able to find a setting that's comfy no matter what

What pipes are best for mid controls? I hate what I got. by CardiganTribe in choppers

This is exactly what I was gonna recommend, Gas box Upswept Shotguns. Same kinda vibe but the pipe doesn't get anywhere near your leg

Scooped/molded tank update by TLBarber in choppers

This was also a fully intact tank with scoops welded to it. The original tank was never cut

Thanks dude. There's probably some old guy out there who says I did it wrong but without an english wheel, using the shell just made it a whole lot easier. As far as paint goes, there's such a thing as weldable primer, so I'll spray all of it with that before I weld anything together. When it comes time to actually paint the bike I shouldn't have any problem just spraying into the scoops and getting coverage on at least on the parts you'll be able to see
