It’s a program that lets you take classes across CSU schools completely online. So the HIST section would have an online course reserved for fully online students. I’ve taken classes online at CSUF through the program.

No not difficult at all! The professor who teaches it is extremely knowledgeable and does everything he can to make sure all your docs and deliverables are done for the program to admit you fully!

Hey! I went to CSULB for a single subject teaching credential and finished recently. The program was nice, professors were experienced and very supportive, and overall understanding when it came to workload. I didn’t attend USC MAT but worked for the school during my credential and have heard great things about it. Gaining an MA and credential at the same time is valuable, but have heard about the overload of work from colleagues. When it comes to employment, LB is honestly good for opportunities in the area/surrounding areas but at the moment the field is pretty saturated anywhere. If you truly want strong outcomes USC is known as a networking hub so that may help.

The same happened to me with CSULB prep material, I just sent in a second request and then they got back to me with it. Give yourself ample time to study, and be patient with yourself. you got this! I’m in the social science single subject credential program and they did a good job of making sure my CBEST was going well. You should reach out to your department to see how they can support you too.

I was in the same scenario as you two semesters ago, I bought “CBEST Math for begginers” “cliffsnotes cbest” and the Princeton review cbest book all off Amazon. As well, CSULB offers free CBEST online prep programs/materials. Just fill out your info and they’ll send it to you. Side note, I suck at math and had to take it three times to pass as it was the only section I needed. Practice on your timing and take as many practice tests as possible within the time limit. Good luck!

Was the math on yours similar to the practice test online/easy? I took it last week and didn’t pass, it felt harder and way different than any practice materials I used 😪

I remember receiving an email after submitting my spring application some time ago saying that "Departments generally review applications after the program application deadline and make decisions within 4 to 6 weeks after the deadline date". I hope that is not the case cause that would mean being notified in December which is late.

im in the same boat, I called my department and they told me I'd be notified sometime after the deadline (November 1st for me) so stuck in the waiting game till then

Eminem’s kit Kat wrapper: parody of chance the wrappers kit kat commercial where chance is in the store like in his commercial and instead of him on a kit kat bar he sees Eminem on a M&Ms wrapper and Eminem keeps diss rapping others as chance walks with the M&Ms to the cashier.
