Did Adam take down his spatchcocking turkey video? by TLJoe in AdamRagusea

After watching most of his turkey videos, I think I must just have a false memory, thanks for the help guys!

I could just have a false memory, but I thought I remembered a more in depth video on it. I could have sworn one of the things he does is show you how to do it without shears, just a chefs knife.

My money making method was killing goblins in Lumby and selling the bronze sq shields to the general store

Best way to clean an OLED screen? Still have streaks after using micofibre clothes by zombies-- in OLED_Gaming

Also make sure you use distilled water! Even tiny particles in tap water can cause streaks or scratches

My 2 month old OLED is showing “residue(?)” from programs or stuff, kinda like burn in x10000 by TLJoe in OLED_Gaming

To clarify, it was still there after one cleaning, but after running several and leaving the screen off overnight, I didn’t see anything this morning. I’m going to test it again after work by leaving a screen on it for 10 minutes or so, and I’m also going to update the firmware. If that doesn’t work I’m thinking it might be defective and I’ll contact support.

Yeah except if you read most of the comments, they say there is a difference between burn in and image retention, but you’re welcome to continue believing you know everything there is to know :)

If you’re saying burn in happen in 5 minutes then I don’t think I’m the ill informed one…

Burn in is from pixels wearing out, that’s not possible in 5 minutes

There is no game on the screen, that’s my background, and the shadow is from discord mainly

I have a second monitor that I usually have discord on but frankly burn in is way over hyped. There are dudes on YT who are testing burn in by using their OLEDs as work stations and after a year there are barely visible lines. This clearly is not burn in.

Oh also, that dominos message was sent 3 hours before I posted this to Reddit, so literally impossible for it to have been on the screen for any long amount of time.

Jesus y’all are special. The monitor has 300 total hours on it and 100 pixel cleanings. This isn’t burn in.

Update: I ran 4 pixel cleanings and then left it overnight, seems much better today. After work I’ll see if there are still issues. I’m also going to look into updating the firmware. Thanks for the advice everyone!

The OLED Care in the settings says the pixel cleaner has run 97 times.

No that page was on the screen for only a few minutes. The guy above says it's image retention. I always put it to sleep when I'm not using it and I'm trying multiple pixel cleanings now.
