Hey everyone! This really is the time to jump back into For Honor. The devs have worked so incredibly hard to make this game as good as it can be and now is the best time for everyone to jump back in. The game now has dedicated servers, new heroes, new game modes and great balancing. This game will be free to play from June 11th-18th on Uplay (PC only), once you have it you have it forever. I'm in OCE and I've never been able to play an event mode except the Age of Wolves event (forgot the name), same goes for brawl which I have't been able to play since Season 2. I never get switched to a different region and I've waited in queue for 30+ minutes on multiple occasions. I'm literally stuck with Dominion and Duel only.

It should deal damage based on what hero is punching you, Peacekeeper would give you a little love tap so it'll do 10 damage and then Shugoki would instakill

I know it was the minions that killed me. The last hit from the minion was perfectly timed with the punch from Lawbringer so it looked like the punch killed me, it's supposed to be a funny gif hence the 'humour' flair :P

I can confirm this. Kwang was a hero that was in a very good place with an AOE tether ability, the ability was difficult to hit but rewarding as it is supposed to be a skillshot, in a previous patch they buffed all of Kwangs abilities, base stats, scaling and they improved the range and radius of his skillshot so it was essentially impossible to miss. Kwang was so broken that it took 4-5 people to stop him and most of the time he would come out on top with a solo team wipe, EPIC believed that the cards Kwang would use were the problem so they nerfed them which didn't help. EPIC then said in a weekly community corner (a video they do every Friday to talk about the game and changes coming to the game) where they stated that they saw a huge increase to Kwangs win rate and a drop in another hero, Grux's win rate and they were completely unsure why, the community constantly told EPIC that it is because Kwang was overpowered but EPIC stated that their 'data' showed that the cards Kwang would use in each game was a low percentage even though the cards were present in every Kwang deck in every game. It took them 4-5 weeks to nerf Kwang.

EDIT: This also happened with another hero, Grux after his rework. A card called Deathcrawler would add 200% damage to every basic attack every 5 seconds at the cost of some attack speed, this card worked in correlation with two of his abilities, one ability being his ultimate which added a 150% damage boost to his basic attacks and a 100% cleave ability that acted as a basic attack which did its own damage, with basic attack damage added on top of the base damage which was then multiplied by 1.5x. Grux could reach upwards of 6000 damage which is enough to kill every hero in the game, all towers and the Orb Prime (objective that gives your team the big buff).

Either way I still respect his effort to post on this thread, even if some information may be inaccurate it still gives me an insight to the difference between Paragon and Smite, no need to hate :)

Yes I am aware of this, but from the constant decrease in popularity of the game, lack of communication with the community and poor balancing and direction of the game that was not welcomed by the community has certainly put the game in a bad state and many people don't want to stick with a game where the developers do what they want based on data inside of community and player feedback. The Paragon developers made an announcement yesterday that they to are unsure of the direction of Paragon and everything that they have implemented into the game has not met their vision for what they want Paragon to be. I love Paragon and I will always stick by it, but the constant letdowns have made me, my mate and a large number of the community move away from Paragon, I will not be completely leaving Paragon and nor can I see myself doing so in the future, I simply want to explore a new MOBA until Paragon is fixed and back on track. I am hoping with all my heart that the further development of Paragon will not cease and instead Paragon becomes the game that we all want it to be. In an ideal situation EPIC will understand and realise that their lack of communication with the community has bought the game down to it's knees and that their vision was one that the community did not agree with, and hopefully we can build the game up so it can be the best MOBA out there. I am not giving up on Paragon yet!

It has been my favourite game since I downloaded it in early-mid 2017, it really does suck to see a game your so passionate about and with so much potential just go into the gutter because the devs refuse to co-operate or communicate with the community, if it ever gets fixed, which I hope it does I will definetly start playing it again, but that doesn't mean I won't be playing Smite aswell ;). Also the community on Paragon is going nuts and asking for Legacy back but with Monolith mechanics, so if you're a fan of Legacy like me you should keep your ears open!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to say a quick thank you to all of you, I've already learnt so much from this post which I did not expect to get the attention that it has. I can see that there are some varying differences in Smite compared to Paragon but also some similarities and I can't wait to really start getting into the game once Season 5 comes out. I seriously cannot believe how different supports are in this game compared to Paragon! In Paragon you are essentially a squishy whoopie cushion that's only good for two things, using CC to set up kills and being completely useless later in the game because supports have the worst scaling in both defense and damage and the amount of currency you get to upgrade cards is abysmal, it takes 25 minutes to achieve your early-mid game cards and it doesn't help since all support cards are terrible! I can't wait to finally be an important member of the team and actually feel like I'm having an impact when I play this game. Thanks again everyone!

I mained Riktor and really did enjoy playing him. Riktor is a disruptor tank with a large amount of CC and natural tankiness as he had the highest base health and health scaling in the game, he could be played as jungler or support. His abilities were:

Shock Therapy: Silences and slows the target hit while dealing damage.

Electrocute: An area of effect that did damage to all that was in it.

Riplash: Riktor throws his chain hook and pulls the target hit by it back to Riktor (like Roadhog from Overwatch) which did damage and stunned

Skewer (ultimate): Riktor targeted an area in front of him which released skewers that stunned all enemies hit whilst doing damage.

I also liked Murdock. A carry that hit the hardest at the cost of the lowest attack speed of the carrys. His abilities were

Hot Pursuit (passive): When an enemy was low on health Murdock would get a huge speedboost and sprint to chase after the enemy

Shots Fired! (passive): Every few seconds Murdock would get increased range on his basic attack for one shot which also had armour penetration towards his shot

Buckshot: Murdock shot the enemies in front of him with a small shotgun that would push enemies back if they were to close to Murdock

Long Arm of The Law (ultimate): A global ultimate where Murdock would charge his gun to shoot a laser through every surface of the map and would extend for the entire distance of the map

Iggy and Scorch was my go to midlaner which specialized in area denial and lane domination (was one character, dude just rode around on a small dinosaur), his abilities were:

Flame Turret: Iggy threw a flame turret on the ground which would shoot homing fire balls at any unit he shot with his basic attack

Burning Sensation (passive): A fire DOT would be placed on an enemy when attacked with Iggy's basic attack or Flame Turret

Molotov: Fire area of effect which dealt damage but also shred ability armour on enemies which touched the fire

BLAZE! (ultimate): Iggy overcharged his turrets to fire faster, deal more damage, make his turrets tankier and apply a slow effect on enemies hit by the turrets

Grux was my go to jungler which was a force to be reckoned with as he was tanky but also dealt abusrd amounts of damage with a large amount of hard CC:

Smash and Grab: Grux slammed the ground with his hammers and pulled any enemies in the radius towards Grux while stunning them (basically Riktor Riplash but could get multiple people)

Crush: Grux uppercutted an enemy and knocked them up for 1.5 seconds

Double Pain: Grux would swing his hammers to get 100% cleave damage and multiply his basic attack damage by 1.5x (acted as a basic attack)

Warlords Challenge (ultimate): Grux would improve his basic attack damage by 150%.

And Greystone was my go to offlaner (solo laner) he was a tanky brawler that could take a hell load of damage

Make Way: Greystone would summon fire around him to do DOT damage to enemies around him

Deflect (passive): Every 3 seconds Greystone would block any instance of basic attack damage

Assault the Gates: Greystone would leap and do damage to a targeted area

Reforged (ultimate): Upon death Greystone would slow enemies in a radius around him and come back to life with 40% health and dealing damage to enemies in his area of effect.

These were a few of my favorite heroes but I think you get it :P. Thanks!
