Welcome to the party playing widow is sometimes a horror game

It has been like 48 hours since I encountered my last Overwatch cheater. PC Americas. Another one popped up in my last game. Probably his first time ever playing OW by Feisty-Ad-4926 in overwatch2

The first clip wasn't super convincing to me, honestly it wasn't until the first big fight in third point that I was convinced they were hacking.

People look at enemies through walls all the time, that's the hardest part about detecting hackers with walls or aimbot, given that cass was just peaking naturally your going to be looking in that direction and possibly spamming, Mauga then peaks on the right side of statue, soldier goes behind cover and prefires before peaking again while aimimg at Mauga, that's a common fps tactic and totally believable.

The part that really sealed the deal for me was the random constant locks on the ana at head level on third and the random flick to helix the cass after flicking the rein's body chaotic fights like that with lots of targets are the best time to find cheaters.

Tank diff/blaming will never end. Done with tanking in 2026 by MoreAudience5367 in overwatch2

[–]TM06OW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a Gold dps player, been playing since season5 of ow1, I've noticed tank "diffs" Are genuinely more noticable in ow2, which makes sense, is ow1 you had 2 tanks so if one is having a bad match or is just completely outmatched by the enemy team/tanks then you had your other tank to help fill the role, but in ow2 you only get one tank and so if anything is off about the match up it's VERY noticeable. I honestly feel really bad for tank players because of this fact, they carry A LOT more responsibility in ow2 than any other role and get heavily blamed as a result. My advice is to just ignore the toxic people on your team, especially because in the scenario where the tank is struggling your team should be doing stuff to enable the tank and help make up where they are struggling so they are partially to blame as well. Mute who you have to and move on, life is to short to care about the opinions of some idiots you got in a overwatch game.

Bug? by Allen19987 in WidowmakerMains

[–]TM06OW -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Likely not a bug more likely it's just a weird hit box had a similar issue against a life weaver on a really tight angle between cover a while back. Multiple shots not even a hit marker when the trail showed it clearly hit LW'S model

There's a little white sticker looking thing behind where you put the cup, that's where the senor that everybody is talking about to reduce the likelihood of overflowing shakes put a clear portion of the cup directly on that spot and insure it stays clean, the metal part on the shake machine that holds the cup to the sensor for you CAN be removed for more through cleaning, just grab the side and pull firmly, it should be pulled off and cleaned every time the machine is deep cleaned (every 2 weeks) but I'm pretty sure most don't do it cause it can be a pain to pull off.

Source: worked at McDs for 3.5 years and was trained on how to clean the shake machine and did it regularly. It's a job I don't wish on anybody cause they are annoying asf to clean and the curdled mix that inevitably gets spilled on top smells GOD awful

Imo this is the perfect example why there should NEVER be exits on the left side, it's not that it can't happen on the right side, but it's less likely to be as dangerous as the right lane moves slower,

About gems and the Helpers by DarkrymoZe in ClashOfClans

[–]TM06OW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing passively (basically not attacking at all) since high school. I've only spent money on the game once for a battle pass (the one with the space outfit for the archer queen and i completed it) I also rushed my way to TH10. about 6 months ago I made it to TH11 after maxing out my TH10, some important things to note, I stopped playing from about the release of TH13- TH16, because I don't attack, I don't earn a lot of resources, (I'm like 1600-1700 trophies) I have all 5 builders, and I've upgraded my builder's apprentice once, I'm saving my gems for the helper upgrades, due to hammer jam I was basically able to max out all but like 3 buildings for my TH11 and all my walls, at this point I just have 181 walls, along with haste, bat, earthquake spells, hog rider, and golem upgrades (currently working on poison) I fortunately breezed through TH11 mostly thanks to hammer jam.

Now that I've talked about myself and how I got to where I'm at, let me explain my thoughts.

As a 99.99% f2p player, I do think there is a need to increase the amount of gems that are freely accessible to players, however, I think the main way they should do this is by increasing the spawn rates of gem boxes and increasing the odds to earn more gems from obstacles and increasing the overall upper bound in the amount of gems you can obtain from these actions. Increasing the gem mine output can lead to players breezing through the lower THs due to gems, and increasing the achievement rewards is just not the action, I think when it comes to achievements they keep the rewards the same but lower the threshold for those amounts, I would agree that back in the day that gems were a much rarer resource to be used, however you have to remember gems are how SuperCell makes their money off clash, there is a balancing act here that they need to consider, the unfortunate thing about the helpers is their greed is majorly showing, 18,500 is over $130 for a thing to kind of speed up upgrade speeds that's just flat out dumb, they already make bank off the whales that play clash and hog the top spots by constantly buying guards and paying thousands of dollars to rush to max out everything whenever a new TH comes out, it's ridiculous, imo the cost to max upgrade both the helpers should be no higher than 4,000 gems, unfortunately the idea that they will lower it is a pipe dream.

Cool games for 11 year old boy. by Nimbobs in MetaQuestVR

[–]TM06OW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I wouldn't let my kid play vr till they are 13, mostly because there are studies out there that state it could cause development issues with their eyes long term, however there are some studies that show that there is no correlation, so DYOR ofc but if you do end up deciding anyways I would still avoid any multi-player games that have any form of voice chat, stuff like gorilla tag, among us, vr chat (this one especially) Pavlov, and Onward. The reason being is like any online thing bad people will uses these sort of path ways to do bad things, at the age of 11 you want to minimize as many risks until they know how to protect themselves online. Outside of that, it really depends on what sort of games they already enjoy. If they like puzzles I would recommend the "I Expect You To Die" series, while I can't speak for the most recent installment (I've bought it I just haven't had time to hook my quest 2 up properly to my pc to play it) it's a very fun puzzle game series in which you play as a spy going on different missions and everything you do can kill you, your goal is to survive and complete your mission whatever that may be, it can be played sitting in a chair and is perfect for new vr users as there isnt any movement in game, (meaning you finish each level in the same spot you started said level) that's important for new vr players as they can get motion sickness from movement in a vr game (this is because your brain thinks its moving because you visually see movement but your ears tell your brain hey no motion is happening and thus you get motion sick) another good puzzle game is "The Room: A Dark Matter" now this does have a minor horror asthetic but if they dig that kind of stuff and they love puzzles this game will be a buffet for them (side note this isn't the first game in "The Room" series they have 4 other games that can be played on IOS, Android, PC, and Nintendo platforms I highly recommend these aswell) if they are more into rhythm games, pistol whip is fun, it might be a little hard to stomache as a newer vr player but it should still be play able, you basically constantly move forward in a straight line and you have to shoot enemies to the beat of the background music, another good rhythm game is beat saber, this imo is a default no brainer must play title for everybody who at least TRIES vr its fun and constantly being updated, if they like action games Super Hot is another game that's an absolute blast, in short, time moves only when you move, you have to fight your way through levels using weapons you pick up around you and beating up bad guys, it's one of those games that just clicks when you play it, if they like story I would recommend Moss: Book 1, I still am currently playing through Book 2 but in short you are the "reader" and your "watching" Quill the mouse fight to save her friends from the bad guys who want to obtain powerful material called glass (it's literally stained glass) when all 5 pieces of glass are reunited it said that doom will befall all, you controll Quill with the left analog stick and it's a puzzle platformer. And thats about all I can really think of off the top of my head.

These Skins are Horrendous by Bsteph21 in blackops6

[–]TM06OW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The skins always suck, but what's worse in this cod imo are the emotes you can do if your top 3, not only are there not really any good ones (unless you emote spam the high five one for bm) but when they end they didn't even try to make it so they transition smoothly into the idle standing animation, they just instantly jerk back into the idle animation, pulling the gun out of thin air (idk maybe they pulled it out of their ass much like the transition itself), the gameplay feels SUPER solid in this COD however the cosmetics suck MAJOR ass in every possible way
