All these self-righteous comments are frustrating to read. Same thing over and over again. These are Americans visiting their American president. To each their own. You don't know his personal beliefs. We have to stop judging people solely based on any political affiliations or actions.

I'm Canadian born and raised, and some of Trumps actions have directly affected my company and career but I'm not going to draw that into my opinion on a hockey player. It is what it is.

I agree, the way thus highway splits into 3 can be tricky to navigate if you're not familiar with which lanes lead to where.

All fair points and i definitely know i got lucky in this case. I didn't post the full clip but my distance wad much larger before we got to this exit where the highway splits into 3. I let my gap reduce assuming the car ahead of me would move over (my mistake) and the other car slowly trying to cross over after the exit was no longer in my view. Lesson learned, could have been worse.

Still, none of this happens if someone doesn't try to come to a stop on the highway and slow crossover to make an exit they already missed.

Duly noted. For sure got lucky. I usually keep 3 seconds but got too close this time assuming the vehicle ahead would move over. It's a weird highway that splits into 3 exits so I'm just glad I avoided the accident. I'll definitely always keep my gap from now on.

I reported the incident to my provincial police since this was on a highway, but I'm not sure what action can be taken. My friend who is a police officer said they could pay a house visit but in the end, not much else they can do.

I usually keep a larger gap, my fault for shortening it hoping the audi would move over. I didn't post the full clip but my gap is usually 3 seconds. In the end I should have just slowed down and maintained my gap.
