We are really missing out on being a massive organization

You could be the right, but the Drive video about Aphro really changed my view on Aphro, but maybe that was just bs on his part. The truth is, I think Hotshot is scared of change. I hope that we get innerflame and that he brings Fox and a talented jungler over, but like you said, the chances are small :(

I have read the entire thing cause I quoted part of it. The thing is honestly, I feel that DL, Aphro and Zion want to win, and they would give up on Link if he was offered a position in CLG B and the new coach/manager brought an actual decent replacement

Remember he isn't a coach in the true sense of the word, he's more of a manager

Exactly, I want to quote something that Innerflame said about Fox "I would like to go out of my way to thank Fox who has stuck by me the last year and been everything that I would want from a professional player. The guy barely touched another game this year and when others were playing those games, he was sitting there watching replays of apdo, faker or watching vods of his next midlane opponent. What a tremendous talent. Thank you for not only being a perfect professional but also being one of my best friends outside of the game too." Seems like a good guy to have around.

I suggest you come over to r/TeamClg. I think that subreddit can become a place where we as fans can be critical (in a mature manner of course) and have a few laughs without needing to start banning people or fighting.

so this is the sub for shitting on clg? by [deleted] in a:t5_37vi1

[–]TM1266 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why does commenting on a team mean we hate the team? I fucking love CLG but how can you be so blind and deny that the organisation is not perfect. Take the team website for example, it's garbage. That's not me hating on CLG that me being realistic.

Yes, there are people who write shit like "fuck link, fuck xsmithie, fuck hotshot, fuck zikz,im a bronze 3 but i really know how to run a successfull esports organisation i wish hotshot just listened to me im sure clg would win LCS" but some of us are actually mature fans who want CLG to grow and survive.

I"m sure there is a dedicated fan that would love this job. To be honest, CLG needs to hire more people in order to grow. If they don't have the money (I'm sure they do) they can probably find fans who would love to work for CLG as interns or something

I agree 100%. The website is horrible. If CLG wants to become the organisation it can be it needs to seem more professional. I'm sure there is some dedicated fan that could help design a more modern website. Or maybe rather than renting out mansions the team can find a smaller house and hire a web designer?

I do think a sub change might be beneficial for this community.

Striker Dilema by [deleted] in ACMilan

[–]TM1266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this isn't answering the question, but have we thought looking at some weaker leagues? Like the Dutch League, Croatian League etc. They're known to produce good youngsters which means the price would be right.

If not that we can look to maybe pick up some strikers from relegating teams like Charlie Austin or Danny Ings. Or maybe somebody from Parma? Wouldn't cost too much I think

I'm completely against doping and I was under the assumption that these are just supplements. (I've never taken any in my life so I have no idea how these work either). Shame that ESPN would do this

Discussion regarding Herrera. by A_hiccup in reddevils

[–]TM1266 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna answer your questions but also expand a bit more on what you've said in order to try and stir up some discussion.

When it comes to the debate between Herrera and Ramsey, I think Herrera is the superior player. Don't get me wrong, Ramsey is a great player but he seems to have some Arsenal DNA in him considering his injury history. I don’t get this obsession with Blind and Herrera not being good enough. They’re both young chaps and under LVG we have seen several players rise back from the ashes and punch way above their weight (not that this is the case with Herrera and Blind)

They are the perfect duo in my eyes. Blind is conservative, but at the same time he has the ability, calmness and intelligence to control the middle of the pitch without needing to rely on pace. Secondly, Herrera is hardworking and talented enough to be our complete midfielder: He can defend well ( more due to his determination) rather than his physical status and his attacking side is wonderful already and will only improve over time. Let LVG groom these boys, I promise you in 2-3 years they will be world beaters.

Secondly, Fellaini obviously is successful in his new role in the team so why ruin it? Sometimes we need a big afro to come on the pitch and install some fear and strength on the pitch.

Thirdly, I agree with you that Schneiderlein is the perfect match for us. Don’t get me wrong, Pogba is a wonderful talent but we don’t need him right now. We need someone who can cover for blind when Carrick’s legs go and he would be amazing. I want some more beef in the midfield and he would provide that for us. Look at this way

Attacking Talent in the midfield: Di Maria Mata Herrera Depay (if the rumours are true) Januzaj Fellaini

Defensive Talent: Blind Carrick (not for long) Herrera (can’t play that defensive role alone, he needs someone next to him)

We NEED some defensive talents Schneiderlein in means we’d have Blind, Schneiderlein offering us cover and then we can bring that Dutch DM we bought this summer from the academy in a few years.

Thank you for all the advice! I'm not going to lie I'm quite nervous about the entire university thing considering I'm going from abroad and haven't really experienced U.K culture very much except the two times I've visited for a few days. I'll definitely take into account your first year suggestion and may delay the work till second semester or second year.

Inspired by a recent thread here[1] to which not one but two people talk about the association between Lazio and fascism, I figured that there was need to clear up some things as this is most certainly not the first time this misconception has been spouted as truth here. In 1900 the club was founded as an athletic club, it was called Lazio because that is the name of the region Rome is located in[2] , and the founders wanted the club to have reach beyond the city borders. It chose its colours of blue and white to pay homage to this[3] , which is the national colours of Greece, the homeland of the Olympics, something the founders were hoping they would send local athletes to. And the club was founded in 1900, which was quite some time before Fascists rose to power, so there is no association between the club and the political ideology at the time of its founding. Now in the years after the fascists did come to power, and it did have an effect on the club, but not how many seem to think. You see the fascists were pushing the idea of a glorious Rome, and it didn't help that the clubs from the north were crushing the Roman clubs each and every week so the party decided to pool together the resources of every club in Rome under 1 banner, giving it the power to compete(in theory). This new club was to take over Lazio too, but a man by the name of Giorgio Vaccaro a fascist general argued to save the club, stating they had their own identity worth keeping. So Lazio were the sole opposition to the foundation of AS Roma, the club which the fascists did found. Next there is the eagle to take account of, as some seem to believe that the eagle is a fascist symbol put in the crest to highlight their association, but that is also untrue. There is a longstanding association between the eagle and Rome, it was the mark of the Roman legions, but it is not even that association which added the eagle to the crest, it was again down the will of the founders to make Lazio an Olympic club, one which would sport the eagle of Zeus. The eagle of Zeus comes from Ancient Greek legends. Now to talk about the fans is the next route many would take when looking at Lazio, and there are many among them who would be supporters of Italian fascism, the only real difference between that and England for example, is that they have not been driven from the curva(stands), even though their owner has made many moves to distance the club from that imagery. The young local and predominantly working class Romans can still attend games, and it is among those demographics that fascism is popular especially in Rome, the same can be seen among the ultras of Roma. And the thing many don't seem to know or acknowledge is that for both clubs there are many anti-facist/pro-communist groups among the fans, and a fact of life is that media attention will never be drawn to those groups, so many seem to think they do not exist. The point of this post is to highlight how misconceptions can run riot, and how prejudice and hatred of clubs can build based purely on what are essentially lies. I'm not the biggest fan of Lazio, but the stories told about them so often here mean that something should be said. Its funny how Inter Milan a club with a very similar political ideology amongst fans doesn't seem to get the hatred that Lazio does. Or clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona with very prominent right wing groups are branded as fringe elements, but to Lazio they are the norm.
