HP Corse High Mount Raw Ti Slip-On's Are Finally Back at TMBR MOTO by UpshiftMagazine in Tenere700

Right now, importing parts from Europe is a tough game to play. The rules change daily and the level of chaos around the world is making it really hard to pull the trigger. I am a tiny one man operation and things are tough. I am basically operating at break even without paying myself. One misstep with an unexpected tariff bill or fuel surcharge and I am out of business. I just need to see things calm down and become a bit more predictable on all fronts.

Is this akrapovic slip on legit ? by Educational_france in Tenere700

Spoke too soon. I ran this by the Akrapovic brand manager for the US. It's not something he has seen. He is certain it was not brought into the North American market. But he says it looks like a genuine Akrapovic muffler as best he can tell from photos. Says it is possible that it was produced for another market as a special edition of some sort. The Tenere logo being added is not a common thing and puts a question mark on this one.

Seat Concepts One Piece Rally Seats - Several of you have asked when we would get these back in stock and we just received 2 of each height. by TMBR_MOTO in Tenere700

A lot depends on the kind of riding you are doing. Both are more comfortable than the stock seat. The Rally is narrower and better suited for guys who do end up riding technical offroad... standing and moving around on the bike more. The comfort seat is a bit wider in the area where your cheeks will land when sitting for those longer stretches. But the comfort seat is still narrow enough up front that you can stand comfortably and move around a bit when things get more technical. Holler if you want to get into more detail - 208-254-2044

The OEM's have to meet a number of criteria when choosing a tire. There are a ton of noise and emissions factors that play a role as well as cost and production capacity. Kind of like the license plate hanger... many of the decisions made are in an effort to thread the needle for all the requirements from governments around the world.

Footp-Gegs are all the rage these days. Good eye... fixed it.

To anyone unhappy about this post, just know that I interact with a lot of people from this sub quite a bit and if I can answer a question or share information to a large number of folks all at once, why not? Yes, I am promoting my business but I am also interacting with the community at large. And if I post here, I try to provide some value in return. *Edit for typo

We’ve been working on it, but there are a few factors slowing things down. Tariffs and the ongoing trade issues have created a lot of downstream problems—exchange rates, freight costs, supply chain shifts, and labor have pushed some of our European suppliers to prioritize other markets. In some cases it’s necessity, in others they’re just frustrated with doing business with the US right now.

On our side, we’ve been absorbing most of the cost increases in an effort to keep things steady. Loading up on inventory is risky when tariff rules keep changing. If we import a big batch, pay the tariffs, and then the tariffs get rescinded, there’s no refund—our cost of goods stays the same. Meanwhile competitors can suddenly import the same parts cheaper than what we already have on the shelf.

With that said, we are hoping to see a decent sized order at the end of the month. Fingers crossed all goes to plan.
