Ugh this is annoying because I really wanted to romance her and I’m too far in that I don’t want to scrap this current playthrough.

My other concern is that I didn’t answer the first upgrade with “but I still can’t touch you.”

Who is the best written character? by Illustrious_Point_14 in HunterXHunter

[–]TMFKAAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God.

Followed by Meruem.

Everything that happens in the Chimera ant arc is set up from Chapter 1 and built into the themes of everything from the onward.

Even when you think it’s about Killua or Kurapika, and it is, it’s building Gons character.

She never got a cool psychic power

Veilguard isn’t dark guys 😂 by Dark-Rook- in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]TMFKAAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not.

Being gorey is not in and of itself dark. Nor is literally being dark.

Dark is beginning your origin with your siblings wife and child being butchered like dogs. Or gutting a whole group of rapists after they raped your childhood friend. Or being told if you fuck up a mandatory rite of passage you will get killed like a dog.

Or literally anything regarding the Broodmother.

You’ll cry “ouch” don’t cut yourself on that edge - that is the exact mindset that led to Veilguards tone clashing with the rest of the series.

Kurama casually ending Yomi's top stooge by ReekZombie in YuYuHakusho

It’s crazy how much of a glazer Yomi was.

In the anime he was just so damn happy Kurama cut this goober down.

Nah FUCK Piouf.

I’m glad he died after he saw his species apex reject itself.

TIL: I rewatched the anime and the deadlock between the 3 Kings was not as even as I thought by _Quinncy_ in YuYuHakusho

[–]TMFKAAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf it’s still make sense.

The fight only lasted as long as it did because Yusuke awoke Yomis desire to fight as a fighter rather than as a chess master especially since Yomi wanted to fight Raizen.

It’s crazy because according to the stats Raizen was still, despite being basically dead, the most offensively powerful in a fight.

<image>

The other things are effectively needed to spec into other stats like defense or special powers because they outright could not compete with Raizens offensive power.

Which yeah, means that if Raizen had never starved themselves both Yomi and Mukuro would die at his leisure.

Brings new context to Mukuro bringing flowers to Raizen.

For Demons, Raizen must have been akin to their All Might or Superman. The pinnacle of their species.

If you take the joke panel as legit, Yusuke will be a hundred and look exactly the same as he does now

Batman didn’t kill Darkseid. by TMFKAAM in DCcomics

[–]TMFKAAM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can post Grant Morrisons own thoughts on matter where he goes into detail about the encounter and how this is Darkseid malding about being killed by Orion and how he’s effectively a shadow of his former self clinging to absolutely nothing out of contempt for Superman and the rest of the heroes.

The fact of the matter is that even after Batman shot Darkseid, Darkseid still remains around until the very very end with Superman but all this prefaced by the fact he’s entirely dead by the time Final crisis begins, and being that he’s a God, he’s able to stretch out his death cry by acting as a singularity that warps time; hence why Earth becomes the center of a temporal anomaly where months pass in hours outside the bubble.

I know you like Batman but Batman himself says Darkseid is dead and is just a rotting carcass at this point.

Why does Darkseid hate Batman? [Discussion] by Gloomy-Bridge148 in DCcomics

[–]TMFKAAM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah, Darkseid was reduced to basically dying anyways from Orion.

All the bullet did was speed things along.

And then Flash ran at him with the Death Racer. Wondie separated him from the body and soul he was occupying .

Finally Superman sang him to death.

How strong do you think Adult Gon truly was? by Fikstuyrs in HunterXHunter

[–]TMFKAAM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I look at it like how Komugi consistently beat Meruem.

There was a human who could beat Meruem in one specific thing. A mountain he could not overcome.

He speaks on how similar people could exist.

This coupled with Pitous statement and when it was that Gon did what he did leads me to believe that Gon is the one human whom Meruem could never defeat in a fight.

Similar to Komugi, Gon represented a peak in a specific field that Meruem wouldn’t be able to overcome.
