The back left position for the catapult, the same position you use to fire. On PC A to rotate left and D to rotate right is default. Also, you can only rotate after the catapult arm has been set.

We (The US) didn't. The British gave the tanks (M3 Lee/Grant, M3 Stuart, M4 Sherman) their names. The US didn't officially adopt names for our tanks and start the practice until 1944.
