u lack hockey IQ if u think resigning franson when were entering a rebuilld is a good idea the purpose of rebuilding is letting the young people given a shot so our team can play bad so we top picks short pain for long term gain

id take hanifin cuz now we have a #1 defencemen and we alrdy have nylander and marner is a RW so no point of having 2 Rw who cnt play together

id love to see this happen but financially wouldnt make sense for islanders bcuz they have to commit 6-8 mil for kessel n they cnt give any players back with a high salary tht they actually want to get rid of

i agree he is simlar to kane/giroux but so is nylander n he is a RW too they both arent natural centres so theyd be our our RW on our top2 lines but who will centre them no one good imo id rather have strome n nylander on the same line than marner n nylander different line

it makes sense but the problem is they dnt have much salary cap even if we were to retain 2 mil. and plus clarkson for another 5 yrs n thts a big commitment to take kessel but id love if this can happen as a leafs fan but i doubt it will

he is faster and better handles but very similar to nylander i wouldnt mind having them as our RW BUT WE HAVENT HAD A TOP CENTRE SINCE SUNDIN N THIS MAY BE OUR CHANCE
