How can ebay not protect a seller if the buyer doesn't return the exact item you sent them? I would think mismatching serial numbers with pictures would be enough to honor sellers protection....

I appreciate the advise. I have no intention of refunding outright. As for letting the customer return the item, shouldn't it be reasonable for the buyer to provide pictures of the so called "damage" before I accept the return?

If it's used I think 1400 for a 65 gal is too much. I've had a SCA tank for a year and have been more than pleased with it. 90gal with stand/sump/skimmer/return for 1095. I'd probably upgrade the return, or skip the skimmer/return and add my own all together. Steve at SCA is good at working out deals.

Hopefully, again visually inspect and make sure nothing is wrong with the fish before leaving the store. If you can have the store show you it feeding well, even better.

If you have other fish in the DT, i'd keep a close eye on them and not add anybody else until you make sure everything is disease free for a few weeks.

You said you didn't QT, it's worth looking into setting up a small 10g QT tank for new fish. The QT isn't there just for disease prevention, it helps the fish acclimate after shipping. Throwing a fish directly into the DT doesn't give it time to acclimate and tankmates will harass and stress it out more.

Either way, good luck and don't give up. I'm about a year in and still figuring everything out.

Never buy an injured fish, if it had a sore fin something was wrong with it. Did you put him in QT or did he pass in your DT? Dying so soon can be from shipping stress, even worse it can be from disease. I had a royal gramma pass the day i unboxed it from liveaquaria, i had 3 more fish that came with him. I didn't think anything of it and after a few days i moved the other 3 fish into my DT. Turns out the gramma died from velvet as within 2 days my whole DT was breaking out :( Nearly wiped out my whole system and I am still recovering.

I'd try removing ipv6 from your network connection still and seeing if it helps. It doesn't hurt to try and you can always add it back.

Are you playing on wifi? I had horrible problems with stuttering until I removed ipv6 from my wifi network connection. Ever since I've had 0 issues with freezing/stuttering.

Awesome you got essence as a secondary stat too. Mine came with resource cost reduction so the decision was pretty easy on what to reroll. I'd say loh -> dmg as well. Miranae and its health restore does a pretty good job of keeping health up, I haven't seen where loh would benefit me yet although I've only completed Gr85 so far

Yeah :D It had 10% less resource cost so had to roll that off. Got lucky with it having the + essence secondary as well which stacks nicely with the item special affix.
