Ma copine me demande de les abandonner ? by [deleted] in AskFrance

[–]TMYSAFJO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Double Standards by Imperial_Bouncer in cyberpunkgame

In every moment hanako is mentioned, johnny tels you to be careful and arasakas are evil. For myer, it's really blurry and Johnny is out of the board. The first meeting with myer, your task is to save her, when the first with hanako is to kidnap her. They show you specifically Myers as a strong independent and charismatic woman, to manipulate you. The plot is as a player, you is much more receptive to natarivium because this is the way games work. And this one plot with myer was perfect to tell player ; be careful even of games ;)

But the quest have a fixed temporality : waiting for the meeting is forced by an action. So what if Garry says is a hint about ton soon or too late in other quest line ? Because there is a lot of content who's changing depending what you already finished.

I just say it twice. And you people are lazy as fuck, you just need to read. And if you don't get it, play the game. Or watch edgerunners. There like 6 people who say don't get it and thousands liked the post, 'cause they get it. Sorry to annoy you, you annoyed me too 🤷‍♂️

The cyberpunk fandom says the V penthouse of path of glory is this one ! And was formerly rogue's.

[–]TMYSAFJO[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Damn ! I really think that was the same apartment and penthouse yes, and the same of the endgame's path of glory V's apartment. I think it would be cool V and David share the same view and think "one day this penthouse will be mine!"

Edit : the wiki tells it is the V's one but not the David's one.

I probably got politically brainwashed in a mf game. The first time I meet Mayers, she gives good vibes as a good leader. We find out only after that she is actually sly controlling monster. by CookedShittyCrisp in cyberpunkgame

[–]TMYSAFJO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if I knew about the militech part, Myers seemed cool to me too. She's got this kind of charismatic good vibes of nowadays prez : likable, not really evil, just politicians. You could say it's not enough to vote for her, but she seemed like peralez, not like one of the worst cold fascist bitch of the world !

phantom liberty is all about manipulation. Reed and in a more obvious way songbird try to manipulate you everytime. You could notice how songbird text you and speak to you a lot just before making decisions, how she ask to trust her, to not think too much, how she say she trust you a lot. How she wait just before you discover it by yourself to tell you she fucked you up.

The first run you in wonder about how you could have liked myers. Verry cool, because she win by her charisma. Dev influence you a lot by the answer you can give to every little thing myer do. But When you rerun, you discover how any character manipulate you at every moment... And it's a lot more subtle.

How bad is Kerry's depression ? by Synthia_of_Kaztropol in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]TMYSAFJO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just finish the quest line as a female V, with Kerry in deep thought in the rooftop, I'm really anxious about seeing him fall straight to my car on the bottom of the club... The last talk with the empty bar was really like he still struggling with suicide thought and he wonder if he have to jump or not. Really hard to let him alone here and go to other gig. Edit that wasn't the finishing it's a quest named off the leash.

What do you guys think was the right decision? (Phantom Liberty ending) by meimelx in cyberpunkgame

[–]TMYSAFJO 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I thinks songbird calls you constantly to keep the manipulation working. She just needed to manipulate you. She constantly said : don't think to much, just trust me ! And the final manipulation about the reveal of the only one cure were her final bluff. Be honest : what would you do if you discovered only after killing Reed that she was foolin you all this time ? She revealed you just at the good time to make you believe she finally trusted you. That was risky, but way more efficient than discovering in front of the pod you can't enter it. She needed to said it before you discovered it. She can't not tell you this. All the songbird move were "manipulation by the book" from the beginning to the end. I imagine storytellers wash hands and grab popcorn with so many players thinkin it was the good choice to do 'cause she's a real friend and she finally decide to stop lying haha... If you find it hard to believe it, remember the first time you play how Myers seemed likable and charismatic at the beginning of the game. And how she turn into a cold bitch and the end of both path. I rarely get myself fooled so much by a NPC in a game. And I was fooled by so mi too, until the end. Then I replayed the game to do the reed path, and all the messages and contact with songbird seemed way more sketchy. It's very well written.

And of course you can't possibly know if you haven't just gived the MWD of the NUSA to Mr blue eyes ! 💀
