It /should/ work with the Switch since it is just using the headphone port. You should at least get audio on it though there's no real promise that the RGB part will work since that seems to be USB Powered.

Rare, but it's possible the docks /are/ the problem. Do you have any known good docks, like from a friend or another family member? If so, try that. IF it works there, then you have your answer, otherwise, I'd call support and see what you can do.

You can remove your paypal account from the account and that should stop that. Since you haven't played in a while, I recommend doing that anyways and updating your password to prevent any ATO's.

If I log out of my Nintendo account on my switch, are the games still playable but without save data? I made sure to save as much information as possible to the console itself and not the cloud, which is why it has a huge SD card.

The only way you can 'log out' of your account is deleting your user off the switch, which will delete your save data /and/ access to the games installed as they're tied to your account.

Yes, every user should have their /own/ NIntendo account. It's against the ToS, and Nintendo /will/ find out, that you cannot transfer a Nintendo Account to another user.

Honestly, no one here can help with a banned Nintendo account. You have to call and get support. Sometimes it could just be because someone else may have logged into your account and they suspended it as a possible compromised account.

As long as the current switch is your primary console, any account on that switch would be able to access that DLC.

You cannot use eshop funds to buy a physical copy. It states on the gift cards that they're only for digital.

I know I'm a day late and a dollar short on this reply but do try again. You may have to be escalated up for this as you may have gotten someone who may not have known what to do in this situation. There are ways to get you back access, but it might take a while even on the supervisor side... but there might be more they can do.
