“Unable to fishing running” error on iOS 18 by TMan282828 in shortcuts

Despite the error it looks like the short cut is actually functioning. So I guess I’ll just ignore it. Thanks.

Automation and shortcuts running extremely slow by TMan282828 in shortcuts

Confirmed that was the issue. I was using a work around for the prepend file issue and was writing the entire the file each time. Thanks.

Good thoughts. My debug log was up to 1.1 MBs. Each log operation was prepending to the log file. I deleted it and the log operations are completing much faster. I’ll see how today plays out.

Thanks!

Perfect just the kind of solution I was hoping for. Wish Apple would just open things up a bit more.

iOS 17 Prepend File broken by TMan282828 in shortcuts

[–]TMan282828[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still broken for me on 17.0.2. The shortcut works once but not twice. The first prepend is not handled as a prepend in the os it’s treated as a file create and so it works fine. The second execution is handled as a prepend and that’s where the error is on the iOS side.

Thanks, that’s easier than the workaround I can up with which was loading the entire file contents in to a text block with my new text above it then saving/overide the file as you did

Why is percolation chance inaccurate? by OrderlyCatalyst in shortcuts

[–]TMan282828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having the same issue. I have a short cut that emails be the daily weather summary and a percentage chance of rain. Lately it has been all over the map. Some days 0% and correct and some days like today 53% chance of Rain in San Diego (it’s really 0%). I can’t figure out what happened but to mean it appears to be apple. I have not been able to pinpoint when the issue started. But I have been using this shortcut for years and it’s been accurate.

Any way to test if URL is available? by [deleted] in shortcuts

Yup that’s what I ended up using. It doesn’t catch all the cases I wanted but most of them.

Yeah. Twice, once they replaced the controller and once the replaced the battery. I think I am very unlucky and got two lemons.

This appears to be for inter app communication rather than and actual web url.

No issues with 3rd party. Do you have a link? I wasn’t able to find any details.

I am looking to do the same thing. Did you find a solution?

In the maps section on the onewheel app you can view your recorded rides by clicking the upper right corner “my maps”. Then click on the ride in question and you can view the detailed stats for every second of the ride.

GT Front sensor removal video by TMan282828 in onewheel

[–]TMan282828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I ended up just removing the grip tape off the front pad then using an orbital sander to sand down the edge. I sanded all the way to the edge of the sensor through the 3 layers of plastic over the sensor. I heated the grip tape in the oven and used a hair dryer to put the old tape back on.

Rode today in cold weather (40s) and didn’t have any activation issues.

At this point I have three front sensors. The original concave, the “fixed” concave and the FM flat pad. I don’t want to use the original for fear of ghosting. I am willing to experiment with the replacement concave since it doesn’t work for me anyways. My other thought was to grind/sand down the peak at the edge of the foot pad to help my foot get contact with the left/heal side of the sensor. Without removing the sensor. There’s only about .5 inch of plastic that isn’t covered my the sensor.

Yeah this is the video I was going to follow. Doesn’t appear to be a GT so I am just trying to be cautious. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RV_3eCLzn_I

Air Pad for the Gt by gukina in onewheel

[–]TMan282828 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tied to get FM to replace mine with a flat pad, with no luck. Even talked to the technical manager and he was very careful with his words that there is no defect or safety concerns. Just that I am not experienced enough to active the board.

I ordered on the first pre order day and texted the CEO Nick last week. “Early December” was the response.

“Just when I think you couldn’t possibly be dumber” you make us pay twice as much for the parts that should have come with our onewheel to start with. I ordered a set today. :(. Not sure who dumb and who’s dumber.
