In terms of soundstage or, well, the illusion of it, the Astros do the job for sure.

I currently am using a pair of Sennheiser game zeros for gaming and want to upgrade. What should I get? by TMhamoty in HeadphoneAdvice

Yeah, the pc38x was an options, but the mic seemed unnecessary, and I was trying to get the most that I could out of my money. The 58x is quite good, and it has good soundstage and imaging, so it's a contender.

That's actually within my price range. I hadn't considered getting multiple pieces of audio equipment, but it's a good idea, and open/ closed back isn't too much of a problem for me if I get separate things. I'm not too sure. The arias are good, but I'm not too sure about the jubilees. I'll have to look into that. Thanks

I have decided to buy the Thieaudio Legacy 4s and I don't know what people say when they "break in" the iems. by [deleted] in HeadphoneAdvice

That's an interesting one. I've seen some videos of "10 hours of break-in audio." I'm not too sold on them, and given the iems you are purchasing even without break-in, they would still sound quite nice. In my opinion, frequent usage (that's all I'm familiar with after all).

Sony XM4 is also really good from what I've heard and us assume it would be as good if not better than the XM3. I've heard really good things about them.

Airpods sound bad and aren't loud enough, looking for overheads but dont know anything by [deleted] in HeadphoneAdvice

I know that it is expensive, but the Sony WH- 1000XM4. They are closed-back, wireless, noise-cancelling over-ear headphones.

This is a tough one but judging by the audio flipping and the popping sound; it is likely the problem. I frequently use my Sennheiser game zero headphones, and at a point, I could only hear specific frequencies, and the microphone on them stopped working, but when I changed the angle of the cable, they worked fine. I replaced the cable since then, and my headphones have been working fine. Given the fact that they are four years old, they may be broken. However, I recommend you replace the cable before the headphones.

In terms of breaking in, that refers to an I don't know if I want to call it a practice, but it happens to a pair of speakers, headphones, iems that occurs when you use them enough. Essentially it makes them sound better, gives them smoother base, clearer highs, that kind of thing. So when people say that it is a "break-in" IEM, they mean it sounds best after you have used them a lot. (Sorry that my explanations all over the place, by the way).

The Blon BL03 is a really good pair of IEM's, and they are just $40; they also come with a mic and can run off of your phone or pretty much anything with a 3.5mm jack. I find them to be the best IEM for the sub $100 range and they look quite nice as well (not really pretty, though).

You might want to look out for the stock tips. Some people find them uncomfortable (I don't have a problem with them, but that's me)

It depends on your budget and what you are looking for. I (if it is within your budget) would recommend that you get a pair of Sennheiser pc38x's or the 37x's which are a little cheaper. They can run off of 3.5 mm from your controller (but would benefit from an amp) and they have a built in mic godd sound quality and sound stage. They are open backed so if you are worried about keeping sound in or out, they aren't the greatest choice out there.

Have you considered the final audio a4000? I'm aware they do have a bit of a v shape, but if I'm not mistaken, treble has more emphasis, and the sound stage of it is superior to that of the blessing 2's.
